What’s the difference between the DL and SL project files?

DL stands for Dynamic Lines, the lines move (first video in preview). SL stands for Static Lines (second video/version on preview).

Thank you

Thank you :) Picked it up from Envato Elements and missed that part of the video lol

Hello there! Thank you for the freebie, it is really nice. Question, I’d like to know you make the Footage02, Footage03, etc. text change or disappear . I did manage to change the dynamic text but I can’t seem to find how to manage the other one. Thank you!!!

Text can be change in the same way for both projects. Please refer to the short tutorial included with the project for some tips on customization. There you can see how to change text layers and how to insert your footage.
Thank you!

this is a great slide show! I have some questions though How do I duplicate the “footage” sections. I need a video for 15 minutes. Also I would like the transitions to be slower and the picture stays on the screen a little longer.

Hello and thanks you for the nice comment.

You can see how to duplicate the footage in the short (subtitled) tutorial included with the project. It’s fairly simple since this is a modular project.

Each “slide” comp goes up to 10 seconds (but you can extend that duration in the composition settings “press Ctrl+K”) and then also extend the Comp Layer inside the “Master Comp”. By Comp Layer I mean “MC-Footage##”.

Now you can certainly make the transitions slower as well, the project is fully customizable. But this takes a bit more fiddling. You have to press “U” on your keyboard while you have the “MC-Footage##” comp opened, and then move the key-frames around.
If you’re using pictures for this slideshow then you can re-time the beginning (the transition part) of the “MC-Footage##” inside the “Master Comp”, using the After Effects time-remap feature. This is a good and faster workaround, but it still does require some AE knowledge.

Thank you!

This is a great project. I have one question that isn’t addressed in the tutorial. Several of the slides include quadrants or two squares. And in your demo video, the lines making up the quadrants move aside to reveal the entire image. Can you explain how to achieve this? Thank you very much.

Hello ShawnWin,
You don’t need to do anything to achieve the same effect. You have two projects inside the template package you download. One project says DL and one SL, which stand for Dynamic Lines and Static Lines. Open the DL project and the lines will move aside just like in the first video of the preview.
Thank you!

OOOHHHHHH!! Thank you for the very quick reply!

Is there a easy why to add more then 20 “footage” sections.

Yes it is possible to duplicate any of the scenes and add as many footage sections as you need. If you are new to After Effects you will find a tutorial in the download package that will show you how to customize the project and add more scenes as well.
Thank you!

Hello! Thanks for freebie. What program shall I use to do changes?

This template can be edited with Adobe After Effects CS5.5 or any newer version.

Thanks for the Free File Bro

Thanks for this free file! Question, how do I make my images appear in color instead of black and white? Is the entire composition set to black and white? (Newbie to AE here)

On the MasterComp disable or delete the adjustment layer that turns the footage into B/W (black and white). You can also see how this is done in the tutorial included in the package.
Thanks!

You’re Welcome!

Thanks for giving this for free ;)

You’re Welcome! :)

Thanks so much. Im beginner and cant get the whole tutorial. It’s without audio. Please help me to make it

Hello, the tutorial is subtitled in English (you can find them at the bottom of the video, sometimes your media player might be covering them). That’s the only language I can include for now. But even if you don’t understand English very well you should be able to follow the simple steps shown in the video and customize the template.
Thank you!

Really well done!
