I need to add more PLACEHOLDERS to this project. Can you give me some direction on how to do that?
There are currently 9 and I need 15-20
That’s a pretty complicated task you’re discussing. I don’t know if I could describe it in a comment, it would take a full-blown video tutorial and a good bit of AE knowledge to do that. I would be willing to do a paid customization if you’re interested.
i do not get this ? what am i missing ? i cannot figure out how to drop video or stills into this project ….. i’m pretty familiar with AE, and i’ve bought lots of other templates that make it clear where to drop video.
To add text, video or stills, in the placeholder, simply open the Video Placeholders folder in your project window, and click on the PLACEHOLDERx comp you want to edit, (e.g. PLACEHOLDER2). The help file included gives very clear instructions on which comps do what.
Hi I am pretty new to AE, have done about 8 templates so far. I have 2 questions…
Why am I getting the striped flare video OVER the transition?
How do I replace text (insert) into the video place holder. I want to use mostly words in my project..

I’m not 100% sure what you mean when you say that the striped flare video is over the transition. Could you explain a little more what you’re seeing?

Love the style, just one question, and apologies for it being a stupid one, but I’m looking to mix and match the 30 second and 5 second sequences, but struggling to do it, how do i go about taking a comp from one project to the other without ruining the main project?

You may have some trouble with this, but the most surefire way to mix and match would be to enter one of the two files, go to File > Import, and import the After Effects project (which will be placed in it’s own folder). That would be the best way to do this.
Bought this because 1) I loved it 2) Being new to AE I thought it would be a great way to learn how to build something like this but then sadly realized its still far beyond my grasp!
But one thing I love is how easy it is to use, really great build, definitely recommend buying this template.
