Hi Motioncraver! I’ve just bought your template ‘School Days Toolkit’. However, as the other users as I just read, when I open it on my After Effects appears the message: ‘Unable to allocate 0.189MB of memory. Either decrease the memory requirements for the redering of this frame, or install more RAM’. I’ve tried on another iMac and says the same message with other memory value. Is possible to fix it? Thanks a lot.
Hi Thank you for purchasing! If you haven’t already please open the School Days Toolkit Separate folder and choose a story project file from the Choose Your Story folder to start with. Then you can import any of the other additional items you would like to use from the Imports folders. This is workflow should allow you to use the kit without the need for so much memory. If you’ve already tried this or if you have any other questions, please let me know. Thank you
I’ve already tried this solution and it’s impossible use this great template 
I also try to empty the cache memory and other solutions recommended by Adobe and it has not worked either…
I’m sorry I was not able to solve the issue for you. That is the only fix that has worked for other users. There are just a a lot of shape layers, expressions, etc included in the kit. You can request a refund here: https://bit.ly/2MBW73b

Yes you can change all of the colors.
There are master color controls as well as individual controls for the characters.
There is also a short help video to show you how to quickly change the colors.

Can I also adjust the characters leg length? They look longer in your preview sample. I need to have smaller characters for children.
Hello I have a question regarding School Days Toolkit.
Can it work on 8gb ram? I heard there are some issues that the project files doesn’t work properly. is that true, or are there work around we can use?
And is it possible to customize the characters height? can I adjust the length of legs? they seem tall in the preview. I would to customize the characters and appear smaller, to have childish look.

Hi Thank you for asking before purchasing. These are great questions.
Yes it is true the project is heavy with so many assets and would be hard to use with 8gb of RAM.
I created a work around by separating the stories into two separate projects as well as separating the assets into separate files.
However, I don’t have access to an 8gb machine, so I can’t say for sure that it will work properly.
Also there is no easy way to customize the characters height. The characters are made of shape layers so if you are an intermediate/advanced after effect user you could move the points of the shapes to create smaller legs, but this would be a bit time consuming.

I loved it your work. I already edited the meet character video. But I have a technical issue, I could not import more character or drawing. When I import, I cannot see the screen. The issue is about the graphics card of my PC. Unfortunately, there is no solution in short period of time.
What I am asking you is can you please send me only “Meet Character Story” file instead of Jessica I prefer Sarah.

Hi Chris, Thank you for purchasing! I’d be happy to help. If you haven’t already, I would recommend opening the School Days Toolkit Separate folder. Then open the story file you wish to use in the Choose Your Story folder. If you want to use different drawings you can import them from the Import folders also included in the School Days Toolkit Separate folder. This option was created for users with less RAM in their machines. I hope this helps. If you are still having trouble please let me know.

Hi, Thank you for asking! Sorry It does not work with Premiere. The help videos cover everything step by step and are created for beginners and first time users. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Also, I’d recommend having at least 16GB of Ram for using this project, because there are so many included elements.

Hello, I’m sorry to hear you are having trouble with this template. Do you have the latest update of the template? It includes a Separate files version These files require less memory. If you haven’t already, I would suggest starting with either the separated Promo or Meet Character stories and then importing the additional drawings you want to use from the separate categories that are included. I just purchased and am also not finding all of the poses that were featured. And some of the THINGS are also missing, such as the money which was one reason for purchasing. Not sure what else might be missing, but perhaps we were provided an old version and not the one promoted on the site.

Are all of the character poses displayed on the page available in the download? I can only seem to find a very limited set in the Drawings folder.

Hi, I’m having some trouble with this template, I’m using After Effect CS6, on a mac (2,9Ghz – i7) with 8gb of ram, I reserved 6,5 gb for Ae and checked the “Reduce cache size” box, but really often Ae crashes due to memory problem. It even crashes when i try to render something. Can you help me out?

I have sent you screenshots of the error messages regarding not having enough memory (system has 16, 10.8gb allocated for AE) as well as the blank screens the project is giving me. Hi, great template… I’m having some problems, with memory allocation warning boxes.. tried everything… running 8 gigs of ram… have all the boxes checked or unchecked… using AE CC… weird because I had no problems initially, but after three hours of work… i can’t continue…
Hi I’m sorry to know that you are having trouble using the template. I have a couple of questions that can help me troubleshoot the issue.
Does the warning occur at a certain point in the project (it may be that you don’t have enough ram for a particular effect or element) or does it occur when you first open the project? Also what exactly does the error message say? The message and the numbers that follow can help me narrow down the issue.

Something happens in my after effects when I use this. It crashes and occupies all of my memory. 16 GB in memory gone without even editing anything… only when I open it in after effects cc2014 This is infuriating… when I open it on another machine with af 5.0 it works perfect.
Hi thank you for purchasing! I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the template. Please allow me to try to troubleshoot the issue with you. Does the other machine that it works on have more memory,or a different processor, etc.? Or is the version of ae the only difference?
The other machine is using After effects 5.0. Aside from that the one on CC15 is superior in every way. The project itself is over 1 GB in file size and as I open the project and use after effects the ram is completely used up from 3 GB when the after effects opens to a complete 16 GB total use of ram. And I dont understand why because it is a simple project.
