please help, When I Restore project archive I get “Failure! Selected path doesn’t seem to be a project archive” error.

I had trouble extracting the file, but I was able to extract it using WinRAR. However, the extracted files were a collection of many images arranged like a comic strip, not a video file. I also tried extracting the file using 7-Zip, but the result was the same. These files could not be opened with DaVinci Resolve.
I attempted to extract the zip file on another device (iPhone), but the result was still the same. I was really looking forward to use this product, so I’m very disappointed. Is there any solution to this problem? If possible, I would like to obtain the already extracted files that look like your how to video.

I did obviously not do enough research before buying, and just now realise that I will not be able to use this at all for an existing project, which is the main reason I bought it in the first place. My mistake, but is it possible to get a refund?

is the da vinci pack same as adobe pack ver2.0?
Hi! Please clarify your question? What adobe pack are you talking about? There are two versions: Premiere Pro and After Effects. In comparison with Davinci Resolve and Premiere Pro the AE version is the most powerful.
oh sorry I figured that out. I just wanna know will this da vinci resolve pack will be updated to versions of your other packs like “RTFX Generator 1850 FX elements” as on its product page it is “V.2.8” and this pack is on only “V.1.0”. If yes,will I need to purchase it again and how long will be the timeframe in which this da vinci pack can reach higher versions.
The way RTFX pack for DaVinci Resolve works is not practical! if have and edit or pre-existing timeline I can’t drag and drop the RTFX effects into my project, I need to open the RTFX project, import the clip, do the work inside your project, then export the clip again and import it into my projects.
This is very hard workflow, and working inside your project for every video i wont to do is not practical, it seems that RTFX does not work for an existing project or as a plug in. disappointed.
Hi! Sorry for the inconvenience. RTFX Generator is not a plugin. This is a package of 2D FX animations. There is the only way to work with packages that contain complex media footage in Davinci Resolve – restoring Project files. So it takes to always create your project inside the RTFX Generator package. Unfortunately, this applies to all complex Davinci Resolve packages, not only ours.
Could I at least get the pack as videos with alpha channel so i can drop them to any project? I don’t care about changing the colors.

In the install file you open one project and use elements there. How can I add elements to other projects than the one you have created?

Thx! All other packages copies their content to C:\Users\[usernamne]\AppData\Roaming\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve catalog. Why cannot you do the same? BTW: the .zip file is corrupted and cannot be opened bt double clicking on it in Win 10. WinRar works OK. Several people has commented this to you already.
Thank you for your advice! If it works stable on different versions of Davinci Resolve, we will release this feature. The ZIP-archive is not corrupted. We have already tested the package twice. Maybe this issue relates to user’s OS settings. However, we are going to check it again.
Just bought this but the zip file is coming up as invalid. Can I please get a good copy. This is the only zip file that does this.
Hi! You can upload all packages on Videohive as a ZIP-archive only. There are over 50 customers of this product and no one has this problem. Do you have any plans to make these effects 4k? I shoot at 4k 120fps, but export my videos at 4k 60fps. Any plans to have them at 4k and 60fps?
Hi! It is really difficult to make 60fps, because most FX elements are hand drawn. But we will think about 4K
Thank you, it’s fine about the 60fps I was just wondering. Everything now is shot in 4k, so if a UHD resolution is coming it would be excited. Currently transitioning to a new place/rig so I will buy this pack in a week when the move is done! Thank you!
Please pay attention that 4K version has not been decided yet. It depends on how many users need 4k and the package size (there is a technical limitation from Envato).
Yes I know, thank you. Just two more questions 1. On the video preview it says that it’s 30fps, but on the description it says 24fps, is the davinci version capped at 24fps? 2. I see there is one tutorial video for the da vinci version on youtube, are there other tutorials videos included that goes into more indepth like the after effects videos?
1) All footage rendered at 24fps for Davinci Resolve version, but some of the elements were 30fps. You can speed them up in Davinci if you need it. 2) No, unfortunately. After Effects is the main version. We do not plan to recreate all AE-tutorials for Davinci.
For some reason, I cannot open up the zip file????
Got the file to open but now in Resolve, there are missing files in each element folders. Like in Energy folder, 14 files are showing as media offline
