Hi I follow instructions to install in the Script..etc area.
But when I try to install RIE
it shows “Instalation error: can’t create temp.xml
what can I do?
Try Right-clicking on the AE and choosing “Run as administrator” option, even if you are logged it as Administrator.
Or try to install it manually.
Close AE Open the file PresetEffects.xml using Notepad or any other text editor.
Default location of the PresetEffects.xml file on MAc: /Applications/Adobe After Effects CS5/ (Show Package Contents) /Resources/PresetEffects.xml
Scroll down to the end, and right above last </Effects> paste the code from this file: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/13338350/rie_install.txtSave and close PresetEffects.xml

Cool animations, but I’m seeing the same errors. When I first installed everything it worked okay. After I close the project and re-open it I get the missing reference errors for everything. If I try to reinstall the jsx file it just says ‘already installed’. When I try to open the map in “cool stuff” now it throws the error: invalid camera view index. I’m using cs6 and this whole project seems to have a lot of little bugs.

What operating system are you using? Under Windows64/cs6 it works fine.
About ” missing reference”. In fact, this error does not affect on the project functionality. The difference is only in the title effects . So the short solution – just do not pay attention to this message at the opening of the project. For a more complete solution, I need to know the configuration of your computer.
About “invalid camera view index”.
Based on the fact that I know, I think that this error is not related to my project. But try shot solution: click on the Active Camera to select it .

This project is checked several reviewers and they did not observe such errors. Also, before release I tested this project on OS X (cs5.5) Windows x64/86 (cs4, cs5.5)
