Hi, it can be done very quickly. In the final composition select the layer Controls and in effect controls disable option “Depth of field on/off”.

Yes. You have to change resolution in two compositions:
_edit/photos/001, from 960×540 to 540×960
and precomps/photo precomps/prec 001, from 990×570 to 570×990.

Or you can forget for compositions in folder _edit/photos/ and change resolution and add your photos to compositions in precomps/photo precomps/

Sorry to hear that. I hope it’s faster now (after 3 hours from your comment). From my experience some projects renders faster with multiprocessing, but sometimes render is faster with one core. Try to change multiprocessing settings.

And my suggestion is always to render to image sequence (I’m using png or tga) and when render finish just quickly render video from image sequence.

regarding to scene 5: it contains 1850 photos and that’s why the render is the slowest in that scene.

You can always replace placeholders in project. The best way is “alt replace”, because placeholder will keep the same position in 3d space.

Notice that when I tried to select placeholder 58, I actually selected another layer. If you select the layer Hope it helps.

I don’t see any photo with your settings. Try to disable depth of field and shadows, and render will be much faster.
With shadows and dof 24h is fine, because there are thousands and thousands 3d layers in this project.
