Hey quick question…. Is there a way to make the screens 16:9 instead of 4:3…... Because I’m going nuts here trying to accomplish that…

Just want to leave a comment in regards to krattner and willbarca’s questions / problems above. I had this same issue at first too but what you have to do is make sure it’s marked as a 3D Layer in each individual Display composition. Otherwise it shows all weird in the main composition.

It’s a great project – just wish all the sound fx were included.

hi, the project looks gr8. I want to ask about the prerendered videos. What is the type of pre-rendered elements? Will I lose quality when I will rerender? Thanks.

I sent my email to you in a private email here. Also it was doing the same thing on all other display’s except #1.

I think I’ve found the issue here but I can’t see to figure out where the null is thats controling it. The display #2 and #3 are pushed back on the Z axis and are static. Because of all the movements you have following the video background it would take quite a long time to fix this frame by frame.

If you simply repalce the video with the command you will not see the video’s when you return to the main comp. The way I was able to see if them was putting the video in the DISPLAY #2 comp directly above the “Replace video” layer. Then when you return to the main comp you will see them back behind everything, but they are not parented to anything.

I am seeing the same issue as willbarca. What’s occurring is when I import video ( AVI , Quicktime, etc) I can load that video and import it in to display #1 just fine. but when I import it to display #2, #3 and #4 it appears to load correctly but when I go back to the main comp display’s #2 and #3 show up has a whiteish background ( as if there is a layer on top of it) #4 is correct. I’ve tried to reverse engineer the project and unable to figure it out either which is strange. I haven’t tried the other display’s but I’m guessing it’s the same.

I was also dissapointed to see that the entire background is a video and only the display images are rendered. This doesn’t give you a whole lot of options if your video’s are exactly the same length as the video background. I liked the idea and some of the other video’s from you I just wish there was a little more control over the project.

There is no error message. When you place a video or a picture in the placeholder, and then you go back to the comp, it does not show up. You either see a red screen or the snow. But the video or picture does not show up. There is no error message at all.

I work with a lot of AE Project Files, and your project file is the only one that doesn’t work. It has nothing to do with the videos or pictures that I am importing. I tried several types of videos and pictures and it simply does not work. I don’t know what to tell you. You need to perhaps try your project file on someone else’s computer. When it comes to AE, I think I know what I am doing by now. I’m no rookie.

Hi, I just purchased your project file. It looks fantastic, only it does not work. When I try to change the video file it won’t accept any sort of video or pictures whatsoever.

Look, we all make mistakes. I would like to keep this project file if you can fix it. And if you can fix it, I can download it again and use it. Otherwise, I will have to ask Videohive for a refund because it clearly does not work.
