The product description says “No plugins required – original version included requires Trapcode Particular and VC Optical Flares”...this makes it seem that plugins ARE required? What am I missing?
Hello! The transitions come as .mov video files, so you don’t need the plugins for them. The original After Effects file is included if you want to make adjustments to the effects themselves.

Running iMac Pro with latest versions of everything – I have tried every blend mode possible nothing shows particle effects at all? Quicktime doesn’t open your .MOV files says they’re damaged? Can you send better directions and/or updated files that work with latest versions of Adobe and Quicktime – thanks!

Unfortunately not, I’ve not used it before, but I imagine it works like other programs, simply drag and drop the footage inside your project and it should work fine, as the transitions are pre-rendered with transparency.

Hello! You don’t need the plugins to get the project working, you can easily access the footage in the folders. Make sure to update your Quicktime, if you get any problems there. Hope this helps and let me know if you need any more help!

Hello! Easiest way to use them is to put them over your hard transitions (in Screen or Add blending mode) and match the timings, drop me an email if you’re in need a more detailed explanation. Hope this helps!
