i have a question. I thought I saw posted in the description somewhere that this isn’t actually a real audio react video. that the animation is manually matched to the audio.
is that true? I’d prefer a different sound track if it is

Sure – this logo is audio react at all equalizer parts. The only thing I pointed out in the description is the lightshow mode which has no audio react. So only the fast light flashes you can see in the blue and red preview version are static animation (but equalizer still reacts). If you want to have this fast light flashes with other music (one click to get lightshow mode) then you have to find same bpm music for perfect sync – maybe it works with different bpm related to the genre of music. The colorful and the green preview version shows everything audio react without lightshow mode and will work with any music.
