Is it possible to change the timing or add slides?
(version 1) If you plan to change the timing, it is possible but you have to know your after effects. you have to move some stuff around because the hands are in a different composition as the slides.
they are layered as following:
mother comp – comp with hands on top + all slides comp. Inside the all slides comp are the 10 slides individually keyed. The workflow to change them is bottom to up.
- First replace the slides in the comp.
- Then fix the all slides comp, set the keyframes in the right place, make it the correct length.
- The one comp up, make that the correct length. Move the coloured sections around in pairs, crucial are the “all slides” layers. They should all start excactly at the first frame!
- Then place the remaining hand gestures on the right place.
- Open up the mother comp and change the length of that one as well so your comp fits.
It’s a bit tricky, but doable, you can also add additional slides or delete them but it’ll take some effort on your side.
