Can this be shortened to 3 steps without difficulty?
Hello. You can Remove easily. But still need to change camera movements if you want to put in the center of the composition 3-step.
Hi. I just purchased this template and when I open it in AE it says a lot of pieces are missing. I have the latest version of AE. Please can you advise me what I am doing wrong?
You may open the project directly from the zip archive?
If so, then the error can appear. In fact, all the files are there. 
Zip archive, you must unzip any folder without having to run the project file from the Zip.
Hi. I have unzipped the file. When the file opens in AE I get errors? How do I edit the composition?

Hello. The structure of the project is designed in 5 steps. Step 6 add the can – but will have to change all animation keys and change the project.
