Hi, Is it possible to use a comp instead of photo/video as an item in the grid?
Yes, you can drop anything you want into the transitions as long as it matches the comp size. You’ll have to play with timing a little if you’re using a comp animation inside the transition.
Hi there! I have a pre-sale question as well. Are you able to format the template to stay on a video for longer than a few seconds before it transitions to a new screen? or is this just for a fast promo video?
Absolutely. Each transition is separate and can be adjusted for any duration.
Are there any other instructions that come with the download files on how to use this? Like for using photos you included how to use them to make smooth transitions, how do you make smooth transitions with video clips? Also, I am trying to use this for video clips with audio but it keeps repeating only a small part of the clip and never plays past that. It is like it is stuck in a loop
Depending on the transition you might have to play with the time remapping on that layer
So are you changing the Grid? or the Grid Transition? to make the time longer.
