I have another explainer video toolkit and I am trying to import this project into that. When I do so, all flat icons control is not rendered at all. Its dark background (default to my project). I can see the outlines and I know its there but it is somehow hidden. Sorry, I am fairly new to After effects, so this may be something very silly. Why am I missing the objects to show up?

I’m trying to change a car’s color, when I do it through the CONTROLS, changing the green color that’s tied to the car also affects the trees and many other things. When I try to change the fill color of the “Car color 2” layer, it just doesn’t work because I believe it’s tied to the expression from the controls layer. How can I individually change this color without breaking anything else?
Have you tried importing this into your hipster explainer toolkit project? I got a lot of “illegal XML” type errors when I did that. I’m not sure if I should be worried about them. What would be your solution to working with both projects?

Hello, I have the new Mac Pro 12 core 64Mb, 64 RAM, just bought the template and unfortunately I am not able to use. A top mac of these, it should not happen. Your art is incredible, but the operating mode is that it is still strange to me. First, it is missing several fonts and every time I enter, the After Effects asks me the fonts. I tried to download it but still asks me BOLD versions, REGULAR versions of these fonts and I can not find anywhere. Another issue, I can not import a separate comp for my project, because when I export the desired comp of your basic project and try to import in my project, only appear a red square animated. I can not work on your project as you suggest in your tutorial, it takes forever to save. In your tutorial is as if I were using only your comps and it is not my case, I need only a few comps in my project and need to save it fast. Please, I need an urgent solution, because I have a job to deliver in two days and bought your product to streamline my delivery.
Well, to test it, but I don’t think it is a good way to work because it take too long to save even in a MacPro, I imported your Flat Animated Icons to my project. Then I take a comp and added to my timeline. But when I try a Ram Preview, it take about 2 minutos to start. Is there a clue to solve it, to work productively?
Hi, first of all thanks for purchasing the template. Secondly get to preferences and enable disk cache more then 20 GB. Also empty disk Cache. Then you can delete from the project the World Maps and Flags that are more than 400 elements, if you do not want them to increase the saving speed.
Hi, thanks for help. I made that already earlier. Deleted all maps and flags. I have 200Gb of disk cache now. The problem is when I press a Ram Preview, it takes about 2 min for a single scene. Its bad. I don’t have this time, sorry. Is there another way?
When I press Ram Preview it save, that for me takes too long, and them stop, saying that: “Initializing Background Processes. This may take some time.”Very strange for me. And worst, I am working on quarter quality preview.
Very strange because i tested it on a macbook with only 4GB of memory and doesn’t have any problem. Try also to Edit-Purge all memory.Which AE version do you use? and what are you trying to preview?
It is CS6. I trying to ram preview the _World_Color. But I tried others and did not have success. 
Please give me some more information to fix your problem, because i worked all this template for each element on CS6 on iMac and didn’t have any problem, and as you see this template has been purchased and worked from a lot of users that didn’t have any specific problem. Please let me know that you clear disk cache and restart AE. Thanks
RAM PREVIEW does not work. I have just the _World_Color in the scene. Just work if I press space bar, run the normal preview, wait to complete all that green and them I can run the RAM PREVIEW. I don’t know if have a problem, but it is important to say that I imported your project to my project. But I tried to run the RAM PREVIEW in your project to with just the _Location comp and I had the same info: Initializing Background Processes. This may take some time. And nothing happens. Static forever….
Hi, I tried to make a simple scene and run the RAM PREVIEW and for some reason, it also had this bug. So, I do not know what happened with my After. I’ll try to search in some forums. Thanks
Well, I made an After Effects update and the simple scene I created back to work, RAM PREVIEW ok. But when I go to project with your comps, it do not RAM PREVIEW. What I perceive is that in the Mac Activity Monitor, there is a lot of aeselflink, lots and tree of them are like (Not Responding).
Well, I found a solution. I turned off the Multi Processing and run a RAM PREVIEW, worked. Then, I turned on the MP again and worked. I do not know why. Now it do not save every time I run the RAM PREVIEW and it is fast.
I bought this project today but I could not open this. I’m using After Effect CC and win 10. When I try to open this project, opening process is stopped at 99% and then display as not responding. How can I solve this problem?
Hi, thanks for purchasing the template. Go to preferences-Media & Disk Cache & empty Disk Cache. Also increase Disk Cache Size (20Gb) up to your Disk size availability. Thanks!
it shows “this project must be converted from version 10.0 (Windows 64). The original file will be unchanged.” my disk cache size is 90Gb and just emptied but still not opened. Is there any other solutions?
The message about the project must be converted it is no problem, click to continue. How much memory do you have on your system? If it is go to 99% and stays there long time means that can load the composition.
I have 512G SSD (235Gb free) and 1TB HDD (427Gb free). 16Gb RAM. Sometimes it goes to 100% and stays there in not responding. should I wait until it is opened?
16GB of RAM is too law, but the template after goes to 100% have to be opened. Just wait and also go to preferences and enable disk cache more than 20 GB and also empty disk cache.
16Gb Ram is not enough for this project?? if that is problem, I need upgrade. Then is it possible to refund? Definitely, I will re-purchase after upgrade
Hi, i have just tested with 4GB RAM Memory on a macbook and works perfectly. It seems that the problem is somewhere else. Give me some more information to understand where is the problem.

Hi. Now that I have finished my project, I am trying to reduce project by selecting
File > Dependancies > Reduce Project
But unfortunately it deletes the colour controls and now all the animates from the template turn red. How can I reduce the project without this happening?

Also have a problem with the memory allocation. I can´t import the project into another. Have 16 Gb of RAM, Windows 10 AE CC 2015. I can open the ICONS project, I can open my working project, but I can´t mix them: Memory allocation error!!!

Hi, 16 gb of memory is very low. But try to open Flat Animated Icons template, delete all the country maps and flags if you do not need them, save it and mix it again. I will update it soon with a science category. Thanks for the tip.
First off i love your work its really good however a couple of your graphics you spelled a word wrong.
The “Best Choice” graphics are spelled “Best Choise” which “Choise” is spelled with an S where it should be a C…CHOICE.
Also i would recommend to slow down in your tutorials for new people not familiar with AE it can be a little confusing on how exactly to use your graphics.

I just bought the Flat Animated Icons but the AE project is running incredibly slow. I have the new MacPro with 64GB of Ram and the 12-Core processor. I don’t think this project should run slow. Do you have any suggestions?
Nevermind I fixed it. I just had to “Save As” as a different project and then restarted After Effects. Now everything runs fast. Thanks, great icons!
