Hello – Thank you for the purchase!
I’m not sure what exacty your question is ? Which parts do you want to extend ? You can basically extend any part in this project, as it contains no pr-rendered elements. Simply choose the the comps you want to extend and edit the keyframes to the lenght needed.

Thank you for the purchase. There are no files missing, but AE sometimes looses file paths, and you have to relocate the files quickly. This will probably be the “starglow.png” that AE did not find. Browse to it from the AE Project Library Window to your Project Folder.

I am a beginner at AE, I found the file in the folder but I’m totally lost when finding the project Library window

Best would be to watch some basic AE tutorials to get a bit into it. Hard to explain things if you don’t know about the programm and it windows and tools 
browse for project file library window, it should be on the top left hand side of your AE main window.

Thank you for your feedback. It was very helpful. Another question I have is how do I adjust the color? I’ve seen your posting for it, but I don’t see the slider. I only see where I can update degrees and numbers. Could you provide more detail or point me in the right direction? For instance, if I want to select blue, do I select it from the “master” drop down? If so, then what do I need to change in saturation and/or hue? Where do I look if I want to see these changes before I take the time to render?
Am I doing something wrong if this doesn’t take 15 minutes to render. I’ve only changed the texts and I’m using CS4. This is also a new MAC mini I’m using.
Question about rendering
Does the entire project have to be rendered, or only “2.” (‘Your changes”)? What about if you change the color?Hello
Thanks for your purchase. You have to render the “main” composition. And if you work with CS4, even on a new Mac, it will only work in 32Bit. That means, it will be slower then working on 64Bit with a newer AE Version. But even if it takes about 30minutes, that is still fine for a After Effects template with particle system in use

Just recently purchased this item and the file can’t be unzipped without error messages, there are files missing from the project, and the manual included in the download has poor instructions.

Sorry to hear about that. So far i had only the one complaint with the issue, that after moving the project, ONE file can’t be located within After Effects. The file is NOT missing, but lost it’s link and you have to simply re-connect “bright_Particle.png” to Starglow.png” (which is in the project folder).
After that, the project will work 100% as you can see all the happy customers who allready bought this project and rated it with 5 stars.
Regarding the “poor” instructions? What exactly are you missing there? I’ll be happy to help if you let me know what exactly should be explained further in the manual.
Please keep in mind, we can’t teach every basic After Effects knowledge in such a instruction manual.

Thank you so much for the purchase ! I’m not sure, if you are asking about the font type here ? The “style” (chrome) is added automaticly trough layer styles, even if you use a different font. If you would like to use the same font as in the preview, please check the “Read Me” file which came with the download. There is a link to the (free) font i have used.

Yes, this will work with CS6 . Just make sure you use AE in English for the template to work correct (same applies to all other templates on Videohive).

I love this, yet when I edit the text it will not export but the sound… so please explain to me a begginer how to edit the text, thanks

I don’t exactly understand what you’re saying ? Are you able to edit the text, but it does only render the Audio ? If so, you should check your render / export settings in AE. There is also a file in the download with explanations on how to change text etc.

Hab das jetzt mal fertig rendern lassen.Nur das Video (ohne Sound) als *.avi hat jetzt 4,14 GB bei einer Länge von gerade mal 25 Sekunden. das ist doch selbst für Full HD zu viel. Woran liegt es, dass das so groß ist? Wenn ich es mit einem Videoconverter nochmals in avi oder mp4 umwandel wird es mit sicherheit drastisch kleiner, aber das kann man doch bestimmt von Anfang an schon verhindern oder?

Du musst die Einstellungen in After Effects vor dem rendern setzen. So wie jetzt, ist es verlustfrei. Aber es wird meist so gemacht, verlustfrei rendern, und danach je nach bedarf kompremieren ( web, dvd etc. ).
Du solltest dich mal etwas mit AE auseinandersetzen 
Nutze auch Google.
hab After Effects einfach auf englisch umgestellt und nun klappt es. Nur wo kann ich die Farbe ändern? Das hab ich bisher noch nicht rausgefunden…. Wenn du mir da eben noch weiterhelfen könntest, wäre ich dir sehr dankbar.

In der Hauptkomposition in Layer eins ist ein Schieberegler oder eben slider für die Farbe.

Super. Deutsch ist natürlich viel einfacher, aber das kann ich ja vorher nicht wissen. Dann werd ich mir wohl nochmal ne englischsprachige Version runterladen müssen. wenn es dann klappt, bin ich völlig zufrieden. Nur wo genau, kann ich denn dort einen slider betätigen, damit sich die Farbe ändert, so wie in deinem beispielvideo auf Youtube?

I’ve purchased this opener and edited the text with Adobe After Effects CS4 .
But in the middle of the picture I ever got this kind of flame (green marked on this picture):

If I render the project AE says that “slider controls” is missing. What does it mean? The render progress does work. even the flame shouldn’t be there?

Das Problem ist, dass Du vermutlich eine deutschsprachige Version von After Effects öffnest. Adobe ist diesbezüglich noch in der Steinzeit, weil wenn ich das Projekt in einer englishen Version speichere, erkennt er in der deutschen die eigenen Befehle nicht mehr. So nun zum Beispiel “Slider Controls” = “Schieberegler”. Entweder du öffnest das Projekt in Englisch http://forums.adobe.com/thread/657200 oder übersetzt die Befehle ins deutsche. Aber in Englisch starten wird das einfachste und schnellste sein.
Hoffe das hat Dir geholfen, sonst melde Dich einfach wieder.

Hello mate, i just purchased this item, but it wont open in my after effects program, i have adobe after effects cs5.5 . it supposed to be able to open it and edit it etc but it doesnt work. The message statiing the project is in bad format or not readable. Plz help, cheers

Just sent you an email. The project is working fine in CS5 , as i had a few customers working with that version. I tried it also on my side in CS5 .5 and it opens without any error. Could you please try to download the file again and unzip it with another application then you used last time ?
