Does it have to be a grenade? Can you include your own item to explode? Like a photo of a cell phone?
Hi, The template can only be used with a grenade exploding.

Hi, Have you followed the tutorial in the archive that you downloaded? I have tested the project with AE 5 .5 and works ok.
In the composition “Your Logo” it is a text layer with the name “Your Logo Here” on red background. That is an guide layer and it will not render in the final comp, the little blue icon on the layer indicate that. If you want to change the “Your Logo Here” text with your own text you most uncheck the guide layer option by right click on the “Your Logo Here” text layer and the text will render.
