I need help. I have Adobe AE Creative Cloud and when I open the Motion Revolver inside the application, it tells me there are 2 missing effects and only the letters show up. Please help.

Please be sure to watch the included help documentation, which should help explain any general questions you might have. This template comes with 2 versions – a “live” and a “pre-rendered” project.
The live version requires two separate 3rd-party plugins: VideoCopilot Optical Flares, and Trapcode Particular.
The pre-rendered version does not require either plugin, and can be used without them.

Thanks for your question! Unfortunately the project is compatible with CS5 and above. You could use something like OpenSesame to revert the file to CS4 and below:

Loving the look and style, however I’m just wondering if there’s a way to remove the black solid without losing the colors featured in the flare? My company needs to do this as the black ‘shadow’ effect the solid is producing is interrupting whats on screen. However if we remove this the color is lost on the flare, please help!

Inside of the comp named “lower3rd_BUILD”, turn off the bottom 2 layers (shadow 1, and shadow 2).
That should remove the dark shadow areas and leave you with just the logo colors.

This is very nice. However, I downloaded it and got 2 pre-rendered project files. Is there anyway I can get the project file with the trapcode/optical flares adjustable? thanks. I do have trapcode 2 and optical flares plug-in. I just need the project file so I can edit them.
Sure, no problem. Looks like I have to update that project file. The editable one is available only for CS5 , however.
