Nice job!!

Hi, great pack and I’m sure I’ve used it before, BUT….I can’t can’t load up either of the included projects without AE crashing. Have tried on 2019, 2020 & 2021 on two machines.

Would you be able to check and possibly resave from one of these versions please.

It’s quite urgent (as these things always are!).

Thanks.

Wish had included alpha channels on the movies

I need the transparent files! Please advise

Toggling the transparency grid has no effect on the fireworks with trails, why?

how do your already rendered 4k .movs do me any good when they’re not transparent? Can I make them transparent somehow?

It doesn’t appear that yo updated the editable_frameworks_package_4k.eap to remove that optical flare plugin

which version of Trapcode Particular should I have ?

Really nice work :)

Really nice work. :) If I ever need to spend $40 on simulated fireworks, I know where to turn…..

Hi there,

thank you for your kind words, glad you like the project ;)

All the best!

Hi, just bought the nice pack. Quick question, when opening the file I get the message ‘Missing Files: Optical Flares’. The effect is also missing from the layers panel. Thanks for your advice. Have a good day. R.

Hi R,

I would like to apologize for the inconvenience with the project.

Do you have Optical Flares made by Videocopilot installed on your system? If not that is the reason you are getting that error.

However, you actually don’t need to have Optical Flares installed at all since there are pre-rendered flares in Quicktime MOV format for both 1080p and 4k resolutions.

I’ve made a mistake and left the Optical Flares effect applied to the mov file, thank you for bringing my attention to this, I will fix this and update the project!

If you are missing these files: of_lens_1080p.mov and of_lens_4k.mov completely then something went wrong with the unpacking process. Lately a customer approached me with the missing files error for one of my other projects and it turned out that everything was fine with the project, errors were caused by the archive software he was using.

If you have any more questions please feel free to ask.

All the best, Ilija

Wow! Perfect work! :D

Thank you! :)

this is awesome , love it !!

Hi there,

I’m really glad to hear that you are satisfied with the project.

Thank you for purchasing and if I can ask for a moment of your time to rate the file at https://videohive.net/downloads , I would really appreciate it.

Have an awesome day!

Very good project! I like how it blows!

Hello. I am not good at English, so I ask questions through the translator.

I am currently using the cc 2017 program. I opened the project and saw a window saying

' project or failed with a later version of trapcode particular, time to upgrade!'

What should I do? What is the trap code version? Is it an upgrade problem?

Thanks

Hi there,

first of all I would like to apologize for the inconvenience with the project.

In order to use this project you need After Effects CS6 or any newer version of AE (project work with CC 2017 without any problems) and you need Trapcode’s Particular v.2 since that is the version I’ve used to make this project. Particular v.3 is also supported.

It seems like you are using Particular v.1 and that is causing the issue. If you can get Particular v.2/v.3 everything will work like it should.

Is there a way to: 1. Remove the black background from the AE files & 2. Layer the AE files.

I want to have the fireworks layered and exploding but want to export to a .mov with a transparent background so I can use the animation as an overlay on a screen.

Thanks!

Hello there,

first of all sorry for a slow response I was unable to answer you sooner.

1. AE files come without a background so if you add any of the fireworks compositions to the Render Queue and set the Channels to RGB+Alpha you will get an alpha channel in your final render.

2. There is a way to layer the AE files, create a new project (make sure it is 32bit), drag the firework *.aep files from Finder(MAC)/Browser(WIN) you want to use into AE (each *.aep will create a separate folder).

Other thing you can do is to follow the example from the video tutorial, drag in the prerendered fireworks, create your fireworks show, change the mode from Normal to Scree or Add to blend all the fireworks together. Once you render that out you won’t have alpha channel but you can apply the Screen/Add mode again to the final render and overlay it on your project.

Any more questions? Please feel free to ask.

Hi may I know if I am able to overlay this on a static cityscape background image so that it looks like a celebration? In addition would it be possible to lengthen the effect of each composition? Thanks

Hi there,

Absolutely, you can put these fireworks over an image or video. You can try and stretch the rendered videos to make them longer, however it won’t look as good if you stretch them out too much.

There are included After Effects projects in the pack and there you can tweak the fireworks to your liking, just note that you will need Trapcode Particular to do so.

All the best.

Hi, I just bought this package, twice it seems, and it doesn’t work because of 2 missing effects “Particular” and “Shine”. Can you help?

Hi,

it is stated in the item description that you’ll need the plugins you mentioned IF you want to fine tune the fireworks. These plugins don’t come with After Effects.

There is a prerendered version of every firework for people who just want to use them with minor adjustments (color, size, etc.) in any video editing software.

This come separated from the background? so I can put over any background? or have green screen to keylight it? or how does it work?
