Sorry for the very very late reply… I’ve been very busy lately. I hope you found the solution but If not, here is the way to extend the words.

Select the last letter of the word you want to extend, duplicate it… that’s it. If the expressions in the project work properly, the letter you duplicate move automatically and you just have to replace this letter with the letter you want (use the type tool).
