Hi! I want to purchase this to make several explainer videos for my business. Do I need to buy a license every time I create a video? How does that work? What does single end product stands for? Many thanks!

Hello! You can buy just one time. In fact, I was willing to change the license type from “template” to “tool”. Thank you for the interest!

Hi there, I’m really interested in this kit. I run CS5, will this work for me? I didn’t see it on your version list.

Hi! Yes, it will work on CS5. I will fix the description. Thanks!

When I replace a character as told in the tutorial the result is this https://image.ibb.co/jMxJSo/Senza_titolo_1.jpg

Ok, I found an old post about the language. Problem solved. Thanks!

Great! Thanks.

easily the best buy for the money in all my purchase in envato !

Wow, thank you very much!!

Awesome, thanks for the update!

You are welcome! :D

Hi I try to use transition follow the tutorial but it show only one character

Hi! Did you dropped the transition comp inside the character texture comp? Other important thing is to make sure that the transition is at the same time that your animation. All modular animation are precomposed, so you have to find the time of the animation that you want at the character animation comp.

If it’s not clear, please send me a message via profile, so I can reach you via email. Thanks.

No , Dont work …i cant move arms and legs …i use after effects 2018 , MacOS high sierra 10.13.3 (17D102) MacBook Pro MacBookPro11,1 Intel Core i5 2,4 GHz

Hello there! It’s because the project is not Universal. You must to set your language to English. There is a easy way to do this, and you can revert wherever you want. Take look at this tutorial:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eURVf4lsI2Q Best, Jack.

thx , now it works =)

Great!!

Hey

I’m interested in this product. Just a few questions: Can we make the characters spin 360 or show their back or do any movement outside of the Loops in the video?

Also, can I use this project to make animals on all fours?

Lastly, how does the technology behind the whole thing work? I mean, how do you make it so that we can edit the movements of the characters without needing to install a plugin and how can you design a character just by changing the colors of some boxes on a template. I’d love to know this because I’d love to see if I could apply the same technology to other things in my projects.

Hello there! Actually my character is already rigged, so technically you will not have to adjust this rig using duik or rubber hose. It have controllers, it’s very similar to what you can do with these plugins. Maybe the tutorial can help you to understand better. Did you saw this? www.youtube.com/2deadfrog

Hey

Thanks for the response.

I just watched your design tutorial and the product looks amazing!

Thanks!!

On Mac High Sierra after effects CC2017 i can not move the Legs and Arms…can you make an update.

Hi! Please, click in any controller on screen, then hit command+alt+u. Make sure that ‘handles’ are disabled. If i does not solve your problem, send me a message with your system configuration via my profile page. Thanks!

Hi!

I just bought this kit and I have a couple of questions. There were two diagrams showing available actions, cycles and loops. I would like to print that as reference but it was showing super small and unreadable. Do you have this taking up bigger space of the paper, or with higher resolution, or for A3 size paper maybe? Anything that can make it readable when you print it out.

I also wonder about the tutorial document when I opened after effect. I followed that up to opening the project. Then this document “disappeared”, meaning I have no idea where it is and how to find it. Where is it? Can that document be printed out? And be readable anywhere?

I’m a little confused at the moment, but I hope that I will understand it. It seem as there is information. One little feedback, though I really have not got started with it so much, is that it seem to say what you should do, but maybe not so detailed how you should do it. That would have been great for a newbie like me.

Thanks!

Hello there!

These two diagrams that you can find on \DESIGN and MOTION Character Kit\References\Animations are in PDF format, you should be able to zoom-in as you need, even print it at any size that you want. Maybe you should try to open it on the Adobe Acrobat Reader, or directly on the Chrome. Actually, it’s the best format to be printed in any size that you want.

You can find the initial tour inside the project in this composition: Under the Hood / Tour_Page /DESIGN and MOTION Character Kit

Or you can open the images to read it on \DESIGN and MOTION Character Kit\Assets folder on the project folder.

The best way to start it out is watching the tutorials. Give me your feedback on the tutorials too. I made it to be easy to every one, so if you are having a hard time understanding it, I want to know how I can better help you.

Best, Jack.

Hi! I bought this. Do you have any tutorial on how do use it? I don’t understand anything. Thanks!

Hi! Please, watch my tutorials at www.youtube.com/2deadfrog. Inside the folder you can find the tutorial too.

Hi! This seem great! I wonder one thing. Do you have disabled people, and also pets that could be included in the animations here? Thanks!

Hi! Pets are not available. Disabled people may be easy if you customize the character. Thanks!

Yes! Please take a time to watch your tutorials to undertand how it works. www.youtube.com/2deadfrog.

Hi, can I create an original character and animate it in this project?

Hi! Does the file have the option of auto-lipsync?

Please, send me a message via user profile, so I will be able to reach you. Thank you.

Finally we have written you on your profile. Thank you.

We just answered the email you sent us, in the there is a support image, please help us?

How can i use multiple characters together? when i start using 1 character for example the doctor, and then throw the texture from policeman over it the characters change both to policeman.

Hi! I have an workflow to work with multiple characters. You could have more than one character in a project, but it’s complicated. My suggestion is:

1. Created your animation for the first character. Save the project as “Character A” for example. 2. Render it with alpha channel. 3. Save as the project and call it “character B” for example. 4. Replace the character texture and create your animation. Render it with alpha channel. 5. Create a new empty project and import the rendered characters. 6. If need some animation adjustment, open the other projects again and render it again.

In this way you will be able to work with as many characters you need.

You can check it out how to make it in this part of the tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xj9iKmsqG9U&t=50s

Hi, this looks great! Can these animations be adapted to a 4-legged creature character?

Hi! I never tried it. You can customize the arms and legs thickness and size, and rotate the body. But I really think that a 4-legged specific rig will work better. Thank you for the interest!

Are you able to add your own logo onto the characters t shirt in animation?

Hi! Yes, it’s very easy. Just drag the logo to the character texture composition. Very fast :)

Fantastic template! Quick question. Is there an easy way to flip the animations? I can do a Layer… Transform…Flip Horizontal in AE, but the position of the character moves. I would hate to recreate an entire animation to have my character point in the opposite direction, for instance. Thanks.

Hi Brian! Sorry, right now it have just one direction. I pretend to make a update to release the opposite side animations. Right now I owe you that.

Thank you. Looking forward to updates. Fantastic package here!

Hahaha, I just finished my Xmas video and already made my own Santa and elves. Thanks for the update, though, it’s still very cool! ;). This was my first project with D&M and it’s a great product.

Haha. Great. My Xmas timming wasn’t that good. I made a Facebook group were users can share their experiences, characters, etc. You are welcome to join us! https://www.facebook.com/groups/DESIGNandMotion/

It’s all good! Thanks, I’ve asked to join the FB group. You also introduced me to DuIK, which is fantastic, so THANKS!
