hello. just purchased, loaded fonts. following your tutorial, but when i drag a letter on the guide track, it’s invisible? can you advise?

Just scroll forward a bit on the timeline and the letters will start animating. Most probably the timeline indicator is on frame 0 thus the reason nothing appears.
Please let me know if this has fixed your issue.

I want to purchase this product but when I try and install the Omino Snake plugin first and I get message stating: ” This installer only works for After Effects CS6 installed in the default location…sorry!” I and currently running After Effects CC the latest version.

There are 4 download buttons once you head over to the omino website.
The one you have to download is the one at the top.
After, extract the contents of the archive into your Support Files\Plug-ins folder and you should be good to go.

Dear Zerogravity. I just bought your product. Without knowing it is a Windows project. my Mac converted it, but there are 2131 references that are missing. In your tutorial, there is no mention of this. What can I do and if I can do nothing, can I please have my money back. Thank you and happy holidays
Hello! I just wanted to say that After Effects project files are not OS dependent! So the real issue may be somewhere else. A few things you should check before using this project are:
1. Make sure you have the Omino Snake plugin installed correctly.
2. Make sure you have all of the required fonts installed.
Links are included in the project description for the free plugin and the free fonts.
Also, if the above tips do not fix your issues, please send me an email at slick_itbox@yahoo.com with the errors you are receiving when you open the project.

I have been at this for a while now and still uable to achieve the results that are shown in your tutorial. First, the tutorial uses the Stalemate font whilch is not available in the project. So I had to download that font into my library. I have the plug in in my support folder for AE CS6 but still no smooth writing.
I tried opening the project in the Omino folder but was told that it was unable to open because I have an older version of AE. I have version 11.0.4.2
Perhaps this is why the project doesn*t work?
A tutorial on the exact mechanism of uploading and filing would be helpful.

Yesterday I have pushed out an update that removed the plugin and font requirements. If you download the project again you will find all the letters with an alpha channel.
Also, in the tutorial, I’m only using the font as a guide to get an idea about where the animated letters will go. For example if you want to make a title using the Alex Brush animated letters you will want to use as a guide the Alex Brush font.
The only reason I have not made another tutorial is because the procedure is exactly the same. The only thing that you have to change is the font that’s going to be used as a guide based on what letters you want to use from the project.
Keep in mind that since yesterday, having the font and plugin is not a requirement anymore.
Once you open the project, which at this point should work without plugins and fonts, it’s only a matter of placing the letters on the timeline and adjusting the timing at which they start animating.
Please let me know if the latest update for this project has fixed your issues.

All of the fonts can be used in any project and have an alpha chanel. The background was used just for the sake of the preview. Thanks for taking an interest and please do let me know if you have further questions.
