Does this item work on 24p and 25p projects (besides 30p)?

Yes, it does. You can use them on cinema standard 24p projects and PAL TV countries’ 25p projects. The reason the frame rate used in this item is 29,97fps (30p), this is to have more output flexibility.

How can I get a different color scheme?

You can use effects such “hue/saturation” and “color balance” to get a different look (to some degree). You can also use an “invert RGB” effect to make a negative colored image. Watch the preview video for some examples of other color schemes.

How can I use this item as as overlay?

1) to use as an overlay drop this on a layer on top of your footage with a blend/transfer/composite mode; the video preview uses AfterEffect’s “Add” transfer mode as an example.

1.1) you can apply a “Contrast” and/or “Saturation” effect to control how much the files “pop”.

1.2) if you want to use shorter sections you can easily trim or animate/keyframe the opacity.

How can I achieve more variation from this file?

Simple effects such as zooming-in, rotating and especially mirroring can quickly make the file have a different feel while maintaining the original style.

How can I make text information more clear over this video?

Use a slight drop shadow or glow on your text.

Use a blurring effect like in the beginning of the preview video to slightly defocus the video while maintaining an appealing background.
