Be sure just to select layer that you need for the exact time in the timeline. I hope this will be useful

Well, yes and no. Probably the best way would be to work on some part of the project separately and then combine it in some editing program. That way you would be able to avoid the time consuming moving, duplicating and adjusting layers and cameras.

I looked everywhere for the prerender version. I clicked creativeLab Comic Life & then clicked on folder Comic Life Folder. After that I have Footage folder, AE comic life (the one I been trying to use) & Comic LifeReport. Not sure where the prerendered version is?

Sorry, my mistake, it doesn’t have prerender folder. All my other projects(well, most of it) has some additional plugins but this one doesn’t have it, it runs only with usual AE plugins. I check it, just now. That mean that you don’t have some of usual AE plugins required for this template. How could it be, I’m not sure. Maybe you have some light version of CS and not full one, or you use trial version and it doesn’t support some effects. I’m really not sure, I haven’t got any similar complain before…

It will work probobly, but Im not sure, never tested. It depend of RAM memory mostly. If you have small amount of RAM or slow processor, render time will increase

I never seen that before. Looks like the folder that you put in your render movie is not existed. It should be some kind of AE system error. try to delete everything from render query, go in main com and add it to query again. If the problem still occur try to select other drive as source for render movie destination folder. I hope I was helpful

The problem, I guess, is lack of experience with the software.

I looked for every OpenGL option and, in the end it seems there was a checkbox unchecked.

This problem is solved.

Comic Life is pretty amazing in terms of organization. I would like it if it was easy to disable the Cartoon effect… Maybe taking the Cartoon plugin off would be an answer. Gonna make some tests.

yes, but you must enter every compositions and turn of effect manually. It require a lot of work
