I’m having the same issue as popaihq. The color blocks are not showing up. I’m using CS6.
Hi, Did you place video/ picture in all compositions? Try to drop a picture in placeholder 2, scene 02 folder. Or just create a solid in this comp.
So the block transition randomly won’t show though the comps are there and everything looks correct. Do you have a step-by-step instructions on changing the color and ensuring that they function properly?
Drop a photo/video in placeholder comp 02 (scene 02 folder).
Open main comp, select Customization Controls layer, edit color in effects control window.
Thanks for the quick reply. I followed the steps above, the same that were in the tutorial, but unfortunately the square transitions still aren’t showing up when scrubbing through the timelines. Is there another setting that needs to be turned on?
Try to download the original project file and customize it again.
Thanks for the reply. Haven’t worked in AE for several years. I want to use the color blocks transitions featured in the 2nd half of the Demo video clip over two video clips. That’s all. I’m sure its simple, I’m just not up to par in AE CS5. I just do simple things in AE 6.5.
You can edit 2 video scenes. And simply cut the desired part of the video. (Use short keys : b and n.
