Hi ! It’s not connected with the texture like it is shown in the tutorial…
Can’t connect any of the texture. It’s just dark text…
I am on element V2… Does it work ?
Hi!
I just tested it again with Element3D v2, everything works here. Make sure you have unzipped the zip archive and you do not get missing file errors on startup.
Kind regards, Tobi
I have everything alright. I added a texturizing effect to make it work but it doesn’t look as good as it should be.
And I had to add a huge number of lights to be able to see something.
The effect does not look like as pro as it is in the demo… Something has to be wrong…
Can you redownload the project from videohive, open it up and then just save it under new name, then send me the aep via mail to info[at]creattivedesigns.com?
I will take a look at it then.
Kind regards, Tobi
Done. Thank you Tobi.
Tobi put time to help me. The problem came from the graphic card which is not suupported by element3D. Make sure you have the good graphic card on your mac before downloading element3d. Thanks again.
Great work , whish you lots of sales my friend!
nice teaser!
I get an error when i try opening it :/ says “This project must be covered to version 10.0.2 (windows 64). The original file will be unchanged”
Hi, this is not an error, just a message that lets you know that the project is created with a former version of after effects and is now converted to your current version. Just press OK and everything should work.
Kind regards, Tobi
Thank you then maybe it is this because i cant seem to get it to work, when opening i get this message as well: “After Effects Warning: This project contains a reference to a missing effect., Please install the following effect to restore this reference.” and it says its call “element” but i cant find it in the assets/ folders. Thank you!
Hi there! As is stated in the description, the plugin “Element 3D” by videocopilot is required to run this template. It can be bought here: https://www.videocopilot.net/products/element2/
There is also another version of this template available that doesn’t need the plugin: https://videohive.net/item/cinematic-shatter-no-plugins/6158108

Great work! – is it possible to get a transparent BG so I can overlay it on my video footage?
Hi, in general, this is possible, yes. You need to switch off all the smoke, though, as well as the original BG. You also need to shut off all glow effects. This will let you render the animation on a transparent Background.
The animation is done in a way that the logo is hidden in the dark first, then gets lit up by the lights in the scene. If you render it with a transparent background, the logo is completely black on transparent background at first, then gets lit up. If you put the animation over some bright video footage, this may look odd as the logo is always there, just black. This can be fixed with fading in the logo-animation over your footage, but may still look a bit odd.
In general, yes, it is technically possible, but the animation and all lighting is adjusted to the initial backgroun and the composite will most likely not look as good when overlayed over some video footage, especially when it’s bright.

Is there a way to not use the overlayed texture but have my original texture of my logo and have that shatter?
Hi Serifaz, in the “Auto-trace logo here” comp, there are two “Element” layers. In the Element effect, there is a menu called Custom Layers and inside of that, you find custom texture maps. Change the first texture map to the layer called “Your Logo”, that should do the trick. If you need any further assistance please don’t hesitate to contact me
Kind regards, Tobi
cool
Hey I just bought the no plugins version but my text won’t shatter I’m watching the video step by step but the text animation isn’t breaking into pieces. help?
Hi, this here is the Element 3D version. If you have bought the no-plugins version, too, and still see the error there, please contact me via my profile page.
Kind regards, Tobi
Oh darn i bought the element 3d version by accident is there a link to the other version?
This is the no-plugin version: http://videohive.net/item/cinematic-shatter-no-plugins/6158108
Hi,
I didn’t notice about plugin 3D Elements is required , I thought you should include no plugin version inside. Is it okay if you send me privately the no plugin version file. Thank you
Hi, the no plugins version is a different file and animation, for Element 3D items it is forbidden to include a prerendered/no-plugins file (it would also not work in this case).
I’d advice you to contact envato support regarding your problem. They may be able to issue you a refund so that you then can buy the no-plugins animation.
Kind regards, Tobi
Does this work with Element 3D V2?
I haven’t upgraded to v2 yet, so I cannot check, but judging from the list of things that produce errors in v2, this template should work without issues. I haven’t heard from any buyer who had problems, too.
Grüße, Tobi
hi! thank you for this model . But I IS NOT logo, how to have that text? thank you
Hi, thanks for your purchase. To have text, simply put a text layer in the “Put logo in here” composition. You can create a new text with the Text-tool (Ctrl+T), or click on the button with the “T” on it.
Kind regards, Tobi
It won’t show the text when I open the file. It seems to be missing…

Hi, do you have Element3D installed?
Hi there, really like this work.
Could i prevent the text from shattering at a certain point and just allow it to keep coming forward?
Regards Stuart
Hi Stuart, yes this is possible and rather easy to do with some After Effects knowledge
