Hi Chester,
This isn’t an After Effects project, it’s a motion graphic…i.e. an uneditable Quicktime movie.
But if you know what you’re doing with After Effects, there’s no reason why you can’t import the Bubble Quicktime and add some text or anything you like on top.
i like it! took me a few mins to figure out how to get the transparent alpha channel to work in sony vegas… “right click” the file > properties > media tab> play with alpha settings…

Felt_tips, I want to say thanks for your display of patience and fellowship in answering jonahtm. While some may think the question was too basic to merit an answer, it reflected a high-minded altruistic character. Oh yeah, you also do great work—especially the light bulbs.

You can use this in any video program that can import Quicktime video (that’s pretty much all of them). If you use a PC, you need to make sure Quicktime is installed. You probably have it already. If not, you can get it for free from here.
Lossless means that it is a high quality image and alpha channel means it has a built in transparency. You will automatically be able to see your video layers behind it.
You can modify how long the speech bubbles stay on screen for simply by looping the middle section. Did you have specific modifications in mind? Which program do you use?
