The project should work fine on cs5 and newer. The only problem is sometimes after effects can’t find the footage that comes with the project file so you just have to relink the files

Alright the most likely problem is the pre-rendered 3d animation files are being mislinked. So basically in after effects go to your project window and in the folder “PreRenderes” open it up and most likely all of these Cap1.mov, Cap1__Object_3.mov, etc. are not showing up so simply double click on one of the files and a pop up window will appear. Go into the bottle cap project folder, then into (footage) then into PreRenders and click on the same file name and all the files should be relinked and your problem should be solved.
