if you have QT, you must see this movie

why you can’t import in AE, I am not sure

maybe your AE don’t have in Format options “installed” this format (check – composition – make movie- can you make QT movie)

This is not AE project, you can’t “change” image, you can add in AE below new layer with your footage, photo etc and you’ll have something like in preview (videohive)

also, like you sad, you can try to convert to some other format, but to have alpha (transparent) first page you must make movie with format which have alpha channel (avi don’t have)

so make it like PNG , TGA sequence, formats which support alpha channel
