You are right, there are 4 extra frames at the end that you do not need. You can simply crop the last 4 frames of the loop video off to make it a perfect loop.

there are literally hundreds of different editing apps. After effects, premiere, final cut pro, etc. etc. etc. There are two different videos included with this file. One with the background and one without where you can add in your own in a video editing program.
