The atomic model does not move, why?
What do you mean they does not move? Is there not animation at all or atoms do not moving from right to left like in preview? In such case atoms stand still for your own custom animation. This is not background. This is elements.
There is only spin animation. So you can move atoms freely as you want in any direction.
How do I change the direction of the atoms?
You can do it on Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premier or any other software for animation.
