Sorry for the delay in my reply. I just tested it, and it works fine in CS5 .5.
Nice project. I have a problem to use it with AE 5 .5. Is any AE soft can open the files? Some messages appeared: no slider… For my project, I wan’t to change the map destination, not in USA , but in Europe… Is it possible? Thank to send me an answer.
This project is not supported in AfterEffects 5.5. The lowest version that this project works with is CS3 . If you need assistance customizing it, contact me via my VidoHive profile page.

Firstly I take my hat of to you sir, this is awesome.
As an After Effects newbie what’s the chances of you compiling a small tut showing the newbies out there how to actually change the map zoom location.
I’ve tried adjusting the anchor points etc, but for me this just insn’t happening.
Please help!

Changing the location the map zooms into is as simple as changing a few keyframes. All the maps you see in the preview are included.

Hi, I just bought this video and I really know nothing about animated videos like this. I was going to use it with Windows Movie Maker, because that’s all I have. I don’t have After Effects or any other programs other than WMM , do you have any suggestions about how to use this, or could I get a refund please?

I tried to solo layers but it was confusing so can you help me with that please?

If you go to the land_shallow_topo_8192.tif layer in the Map composition, the anchor point is what you need to change. I animated the anchor point instead of the position because when the map zooms in and out, it zooms towards the anchor point. If you click on the layer and press A on your keyboard, you can see the anchor point’s keyframes and make the necessary changes. If you have any other issues, feel free to contact me.

The description on the left hand side says “no 3rd party effects required” but the Item Description on the rights says “Requires Plugins: Yes.” Can you clarify?
That was most likely a type on my part. The only effects it requires are already built into After Effects. I will fix that on the page.
