Hi, this is not working for me at all. I import a PNG logo with no background (transparent) but all I can see is black background. I can not see my logo. I follow the instructions from your video.

Hi, thanks for your answer. I managed to get it working. I just always have black background when setting the logo rather than transparent like in the tutorial video. It worked fine now though. Looks great too! 
Is there a way to remove the background? I would love to have the animation on white background.

Sorry for the delay, I missed somehow your comment, so you can’t change the background color alone here but you can play with the color grading tool to change the ambiance color.

I would like to use a specific colour for the background but I can’t seem to get it based on your tutorial of moving the sliders. Is there a way to change the background colour by selecting a colour swatch or keying in RGB values?

So, on the project panel, open the “Ground” comp that is in the folder “DON’T TOUCH”, you’ll find only one layer inside, select it and go to the effect tab, you’ll find a ramp effects applied, change the colors there. Get back to me if you need anything else.

I now like to change the line and the small text below the logo to be another colour instead of black how do i do that?
and also i would like to extend the timeline to add a fade-in and a fade-out before and after the actual intro. sorry for a noob question. i have 0 knowledge with AE.
The strapline : Click on the strapline layer on the “CUSTOMIZATION” comp, you’ll find a ramp effect, change the color there.
The time extension(more complex):- Extend one of the final comp (the 1080 for example) duration (hit ctrl+K to open the composition setting to do that) *Once the duration extended now you have to extend the layer on the animation, select it,right-click and choose “time remapping”, then two keyframes will appear at the beginning and at the end of the layer. *place your cursor at 1 frame before the end keyframe. make a new keyframe there (click on the diamond under the layer name, between two direction triangle) *Delete the end keyframe. *Expand the layer duration as you want.

Open the “Logo Bevel” comp ( you’ll find it into the “Don’t Touch” folder, then hide the two layer there ( click on the eye icon) Get back to me if you have any other question

Hello, great work. The first time that I played with it everything work, the second time when I wanted to do adjustments then nothing worked. The logo at the end did not fit at all as if the size was a different one than normal. ( even if I make sure that I follow the instructions that you put in there). Do you know why this could happen?

Even when I download the main file and open it without modifying anything at all, it looks like my logo is still in there at the end of the video as a kind of an outline where the Envato logo does not fit. Do you know what I mean?
this is a usual actualization issue, try to empty cash and also to switch to 16bit if the first solution did not work. get back to me if you still have an issue please.
Awesome, now it works, I have a question however, is there anyway that I can make the animation last longer? only at the beginning point when all the particles are moving, if I can make that sequence last a little bit more (1 or 2 seconds) it’ll perfectly fit with my sound track. Let me know and thanks for the support
No, it’s not possible, the part where the particles goes slowly is kind of frame by frame animation, so to make it last longer frame instants must be added and it was already complicated when I designed the project the first time. Sorry.

Hey there, gread intro, everything works perfect BUT i can´t change contraste,vignet,cinematic ambiance, etc. the background is just neon green and i can change it. Can you tell me why? Thanks
Hi, I manage to make the project work with any language the software is on, but have to admit that this look like there is in fact a language issue that make the code of some elements dont work, so the fast solution is to change the After effects language to English, it’s a very easy procedure, juste tape Change After Effects language on youtube. In the mean time I’ll check tomorrow the project again with german laguage to see what went wrong exactly, ( I use to check it in English and French before uploading it), never tried German), Please get back to me whatever it worked or not. Hey so I noticed this is “Resizable”, I work mainly in 4k, is there any way to rescale it to that resolution, and if so what is the best possible way to do it, without compromising quality or any of that? Is it possible you could send me a 4k version of it?

HI, The template was designed for a FullHd resolution, so it is the maximum resolution, you can scale it up but with loss of quality. Preparing a 4k version will take time, and right now I’m in the middle of something, what I can promise you is to try my best uploading a new 4k version as soon as I can once free. Regards, Amstane.

This looks freakin’ AWESOME!! (and even comes with soundtrack!) I’m new to AE but have done a few intro logos with a theme I bought here, so looks super straight forward (and I haven’t changed colors or shadow distance but that is easy to figure out?)

Hi, If you want a grayscale bacground just drag all the color correction slider value to 0, if you want even the logo to be grayscale, use a grayscale logo.
Amstane, I opened the file in AE CC and none of the sliders are present to change the ambient color, etc. Is there a fix for this? The other question I had is with the logo. Do I have to rasterize the textfield level I used to generate the png file for better quality?
Hi, For your first issue, it may be a language issue, the sliders work only on English version of AE, you can change the language temporarily to english just type “how to change language of after effects” on youtube.
For the second question, yes of course, rasterize your logo at about 3000 or 4000 px.

Hi Amstane, I’m NOT familiar at all with After Effects. I would like to add some text before the animation with fade-in fade-out effects. Exactly like in your preview video. How can I do? I know I can find the answer elsewhere, in some after effects tutorial, but you know the project structure and it’s easy to ask you. Thank you!
In the final comp, the one you will render, go to “composition/composition setting”, and increase the duration, this ways you can move forward the animation layer. Create a text layer by right clicking on the layers tab. Double click on the text to edit it select the text layer and press “s” for scale. Press the watch icon to activate the automatic animation keys creation move forward and scale it up. press “u” to be able to see the keys you’ve just created, in case you want to change them.

What was the solution to the encato logo being stuck in the AE file…I am having the same issue. I purged, and deleted the envato logo as mentioned in the tutorial and still it shows up and at about 3seconds into the animation
You can switch color depth from 8 bit to 16 bit, this also force AE to reset memory.

Great template but I do have a question! I’m attempting to increase the timeline by a few seconds and add a whoosh out animation – I’m familiar with after effects so I can make the animation out, however—When I increase the timeline length and drag the neccesary composition sliders over to cover the timeline, the logo/background suddenly increases in scale at exactly 10:01, as if it is zoomed in. I can’t seem to find out why this is happening.
I’d really appreciate some help on that.

check out the camera layer, and extend its length, or work in a final comps and unable time remaping on the main layer, then extend the length.
You can also send me your customized AE file and your logo the I can advise you better.

Hi, Vocefilms did not respond or send a mail, so I guess he solved out, I’ll ask you the same thing, send me out te AE file + your logo file, and I’ll check it out asap and get back to you, but first please make sure that you have hidden the Envato logo in “Your Logo Here” composition.
Thanks for the quick reply! I definitely have hidden it/ deleted it/ deleted the file off of my computer completely haha… and somehow it always returns. Sometimes it won’t show up until after I have rendered it out. It is very odd. Emailing now.

Hi, Try to purge all memory Edit/Purge/All Then try to empty the AE disk cache edit/Preference/Media & disk cache , then click on Clean Data base and cache
Because it’s the only possibility that somehow this version of AE that you have on mac use images from cache and don’t reload some items.

hi for some reason this is not working. it have my logo and envato logo in there together. even if i download a new file it still shows both.
when you open the “Your Logo Here” composition, and drag your own logo into it, you have to HIDE or delete the Envato logo from there.
i did it still there. like this file in not working my logo is stuck to the envato logo
