I just open the project in Windows CS6 version of after effect. When I open, an error appear that told that it can’t found an effect called “Separate XYZ Position” in all Frame-0X. The problem is that the camera is allways fixed in the same position. Do you have any idea about how to solve that?

Hi there! Awesome template but I’m running into a little problem with the mosaic photo reveal. As my main image I am using a logo that I have split in two. The first part is present during the whole mosaic thing forming, but the second one I have it fade in after the mosaic has pretty much formed and the first part of logo has become visible. Now the problem I’m running into is that if I change the opacity of the second part of the logo to animate from 0% to 100%, part of logo appears masked out (checked for masks and there is nothing there). I can send you screenshots of what I have done with the funky results so you can get a better idea of what I’m talking about if you think you might know the answer.

Hi guanaca. Can you send me an email to yeaboygfx@gmail.com with the screenshot. So I can get a better understanding.? Is there a reason why you need to split the logo.? And fade in again. Currently the endframe will only take a static image for it to work. The main logo will fade in already. Thank you . Regards

Just amazing, just purchased! Though never used AE, I’m familiar with AI,PS, etc. Could you explain/provide how you did the intro “Mosaic Photo reveal” text, and at the end with the banner’s text that appears (e.g.”Friends, Weddings, etc.). I would Happily pay for these effects as well

Hello, I’m having a problem rendering this project. I have placed all my pictures and I start to export to a video file, so far I’ve tried MP4 and Mov, but 1. its VERY slow. We are hours and hours. and 2. it always seems to get to about what looks like about 90% and then it just stops rendering. I’m using Adobe After Affects CC 2014. My computer is a MacBook Pro 2.3 gh. i7 processor. I am using Adobe Media Encoder to render. Is that the right way to do it? Love this template by the way. Just need to get it to render. Hi Mactoddy! thank you for your purchase. You can try a few things to help speed up the render. I prefer not using adobe media encoder to render as Ive read that its quite slow, sluggish, takes a lot longer. I would use the default after effects render. Before rendering again, maybe try doing this in after effects. -Edit > Purge > Image Cache Memory -Edit > Preferences > Media & Disk Cache and clear the caches before rendering. -Also enabling disk cache might help, selecting the disk which has a lot of free space and set the maximum disk cache size. -In the same window – go to the Memory and Multiprocessing Tab and check the box – Multiple frames simultaneously -Restart After effects -close all additional programs that might be open -Open After Effects and Render
The speed and time of the render also depends on the Computer Spec (How much Ram do you have?) and if the images you are using are Raw High quality images, this will be one factor as well. It ranges from a couple of hours to leaving it overnight to render. Try using the Render settings h264 option that i’ve listed in the PDF

Hello,
I will render the project 1280×720px for web. My photos are a bit smaller than 1920×1080px project size. I would like to retain their sharpness though. Can I somehow change the whole project to 1280×720px so that my photo resolution is big enough? I tried enlarging the photos in the original project file and rendering to 1280×720px but loss of sharpness was noticeable in this method. Help appreciated!
Hi there! The problem with rendering out a 1280×720 from this project, is you still going to have the sharpness issue. Your method to rendering 1280×720 is correct. You can also create a new sequence with your 1280×720 dimensions and dragging the mosaic photo reveal sequence into it. You will then need to scale down the layer. Doing this won’t really help with sharpness. It’s because the template comps where you put in your photos is set to 1080×1080. Which means that you are enlarging your photo anyway to that size and any resolution you set to render will not be in its sharpness form.
Can I ask what sizes are your photos? Also what are your render settings.

Thanks for the help! My photos sizes vary, but some are just 600px high or so. I used H264 1280×720, 29.9 fps.
Hi rhodezman. unfortunately 600px scaling to 1080, will result in some loss in quality, wont be as sharp. sorry, there’s not much else you can do with those.
Oh you could try to see if this could help a little bit. on your selected image. Go to the menu – Effects – Blur & Sharpen – Sharpen – use the slider sharpen the image.

Hi yeaboy, this looks like a great template but just a quick question before I buy. I really just need a 10 second sequence to finish off a video. I have a basic knowledge of AE and just wondering how easy that would be to speed up? Also is it possible to have the final image as a video (I’d like to use an earth rotating). many thanks
Hi there eileenwall. You could render a portion of the video? You won’t be able to speed up the animation that easily in after effects, so I’d only advise to render a section of the video. Or you could try and speed up the video in your editing program? Unfortunately adding video won’t work for the end frame as yet. You can only add video in replace of the individual photos currently. Hi The template is great and working well, except that the placeholder for IMAGE 8 is pixelated, and no other placeholder is. Is there a setting I can adjust to avoid this on IMAGE 8? No other images are affected, and I have inserted several different professional shot photos, and still IMAGE 8 placeholder is a mess.

Okay, I fixed the problem! I had accidentally enlarged the view of the work area, so it was making it seem as though every photo I placed there was pixelated. This is a WONDERFUL template. You’ve made it all so very easy!

Hi there! Did you get an error when rendering? Rendering does vary depending on the computer spec. Some have had rendering time from 2 hours to overnight. You could try turning the light off which I explain in the tutorial to turn of the shadows. This will help. Turn of multi processing in the preference settings if it is on. For rendering settings. Use the h264 .mov setting. I think this is in the PDF file.

Hi all ! On OSX (Maverick), to switch your language to english on AE, just create a file named “ae_force_english.txt” and place it in you document folder. No matter the file is empty.

Hi, I change language in AMPTLanguages folder (in french) open your template but after 30 days, the licence of Adobe After Effects expire and it’s impossible to opne project file. Have you any idea to solve this ? Olivier

Yes, I have a full version of Adobe Production CS6 in French but my serial number is a french serial number (this is the message from alert box) When I switch language, I have a trial version of Adobe in English but after 30 days, it’s over.
