It says it has an alpha channel but I am unable to make it work i either FXP X or Motion 5. Is there something I am missing?
The main image does not contain an alpha channel. There should be a black and white image, it will be alpha mask. Please, If you don’t, email me your email I will send you the sequence with alpha channel.

VERY nice modeling, lighting and surfacing!
As beautiful (and useful) as it is, I would certainly consider a set of four renders for serious animators. You’d need at least:
1) Horizontal tumble – light coming in from the side 2) Horizontal tumble – light from 4:00 or 8:00 (behind but not directly, obviously) 3-4) Same as above but tumbling vertically
Better yet, make it into an alpha-channel Element 3D AE Project. This would be 1000x more useful than hi-res renders even at 4K. You’d sell a whole lot of AE Project files of a nice asteroid like this. This is no “potato!” : ) You’d loose some of the surface detail but it would be worth it from the perspective of versatility and convenience.
As an Element 3D template I would offer a series of animation paths (already fiend) to match above (horiz and vert rotation), but I would also add rotation an interesting tilted and sort of chaotic (but smooth) animation cycle as well.

Of course, I’ll do the AE project and it will certainly be better.
But there’s something else. It is primarily for those artists who can not afford to buy the “Element 3D”.
I am sure those who cannot appreciate this. However, the way we CAN afford such luxuries (it is an absolute MUST HAVE plug-in for any serious motion graphics artist) is to bite the bullet and spend money on that, instead of…oh…parties and vacations! : )
Personally, my life is boring on that level. I haven’t taken a real vacation in 35 years, but I have cool software and video gear?!
Hope you create an AE project for this soon, I could REALLY use that!!! Best of luck on this project and I hope you make some good money back for your effort. The artists working with/uploading to Envato are among the best motion graphics artists on the planet. It’s a great privilege to associate with, and support this group.
