Hi, I love this template, so glad I purchased it, it took my entire project to a new level! its clean and extremely simple to use. Just wondering what the normal render time for this should be? i’m getting like 17 hours, i tried rendering it as a draft and that is giving me 3 hours. What is normal for this project?

Render time on core i7 with photos should be around 4-5 hours. The render time is much longer if you use videos in the placeholders (x2). The best way you could speed up your rendering time is to resize your videos or photos to the placeholder size. So, it’s hard to say what is the normal rendering time, because it all depends on your computer power and the size of your videos or photos.

thanks for the quick response! I only have pictures in the project… I might be going off track, but do you have any ideas as to what i can do with my computer to speed it up?
You could try resizing your pictures in photoshop or similar. The only thing that could speed up your computer is more processor power. Maybe you could leave it over night and see how long will it take, maybe it will be much less then 17 hours, because after effects doesn’t always calculate the correct rendering time in the beginning of rendering process.

Hey that’s great news! ...you need 100 different photos to fill out the whole screen, if you use less then 100, it could happen that some photos will be repeating. But if you need, you could easily replace one or two pictures with some different placeholder number. First of all, thanks for a great template and a very easy to follow tutorial. One question: how difficult will it be to extend the run time of the template to match a specific song?

If possible, I would suggest you to create two videos from the project, and then edit it, and make it as long as you need. This would be the easy way, because it could take hours and hours to extend the project itself.
