Hi, its possible to find this music? where? whats the music name and author? thanks
Hi Conecta6. Unfortunately Beathebeat took this track down a while ago and it hasn’t been put back since. If you’re looking for an alternative track, I have a few similar options. Send me a mail via my user page, if you’re interested.
No help needed here. Just wanted to say Awesomesauce! Feel free to use my music for your future projects
hey everybody, where we can find the music on audio jungle? ?
Hi Ciga,
The music is not available on Audio Jungle at the moment. The author removed it a while ago. He told me that it will be back at some point, but we don’t know when. If you contact me via my profile page, I’ve gathered a bunch of tracks that have a similar mood and edge and work equally well with the animation.

hi Felt Tips, Great funky piece of art. i purchased it and i wonder what is the best workflow to use if i want to take out some of the text scenes and make the clip shorter? (but not as short as the short version). i figured that i should pay careful attention to the CAMERA key frames but is there anything else ? or a right workflow for that purpose? Thank you, Guy
Hi Guy,
Thanks for purchasing – I’m glad you like Delicious.
It’s pretty easy to edit Delicious in the way you’re talking about. The whole timeline is arranged in blocks, so you can just delete the blocks you don’t need and shuffle the other ones up.
If you want to get the camera keyframes in exactly the same place relative to the blocks, you could cut up the camera layer too. Move the playback head to the start of the block you want to remove, select the camera layer and use Ctrl-Alt-D or Cmd-Alt-D on Mac to split the camera layer at that point. Move the playback head to the end of the block you want to delete, and do the same.
Now, when you delete the block and shuffle the rest up, you can delete the corresponding bit of camera and shuffle the rest up too.
In actual fact, the camera keyframes are not so important. You may find the whole thing works without doing this too.
Hope that helps.

Hi felt-tips. I read the user guide and you said that Delicious is a heavy rendering project. Thanks for the advice but I got sufficient patience to last a 2hrs render, but what I don’t have sufficient patience for, is to wait 16hrs for render (something made by Vectorica) but if you aren’t to patient you can start to render it when you get to sleep. Anyway this is amazing.
Hi Ferbguy,
Glad you like the project. Yeah – I try to keep the rendering times for my projects as low as possible – that means plenty of time testing and optimizing project files, but it’s not always possible to keep a render under 2 hours. Of course rendering times are also highly dependent on your hardware set-up.
To be fair to Vectorica (who’s an excellent author) some things simply require more time to render. I think it’s a shame to limit oneself creatively because of rendering time, and as you mention, there’s always the overnight render option. I also generally give the user some quality options on a longer render project, to allow them to get a faster render out if needs be.
By the way, I was working in mograph way back in 1995… imagine the render times back then. Horrific!

Hey Felt_tips ! Great Product ! Love in it ! But do you have the “Felt_tips Presents” part (Customizable) like in your demo ? I need this part too
Thank you alot
Hi Felt ! Sorry i just red the comment above mine ahah and i resolved my problem.
But, i have another question, when i try to export my work it said “22 footages files required not found”.
Any idea ?
Thx a lot !
Hi ChampJr.
‘Scuse the delay. I’ve been away.
Don’t worry about the 22 footage files warning. All it means is that you’ve left some placeholders in the composition structure. If everything is looking like you want it to, then you can just ignore the warning.
Best,
Felt.
Update: Here’s the link to that scratchback tutorial (how to make a Felt Tips presents style intro)
https://vimeo.com/75501611Hi there,
Am just end-user of your product, I know how to modify everythink, but not to create it.
Why is not included “felt tips” -> “presents” on the “second 1” of the long video preview on the After effects file?
Here a image where I display what exactly am pointing to ” http://goo.gl/cJYyWv “
I want it in the way you have sold me on the video preview. But I don’t have the skills and time to could know how to make THAT special effect. If it’s something simple, can you refer me to “how can I do it”?
Is out there some simple CLICKS to could for example copy and paste a block, and edit it? If not amb opening a new project.. but sometimes it’s just some simple thinks I want, and then I have to wait all the rendering process again. ” http://goo.gl/rW1hx0 “
Best regards, from Barcelona
Hi discoelmas,
Thanks for purchasing. The technique that is used on my felt-tips presents logo is called scratchback and it fundamentally isn’t something you can turn into a template.
It’s easy enough to mimic if you want to achieve a similar effect. What you need to do is write the text that you want (I did it on paper with felt tips and then scanned it in). I upped the contrast so that it was pure black on white, then I used the paint brush in After Effects with the stroke duration set to Constant to erase a bit of the line at the end of the text (I painted over with white). Then you go to the next frame and erase the next bit. Once you’ve finished and all the text has disappeared, you precompose the layer (Layer->Precompose (moving all attributes)) and time-reverse it (Layer -> Time -> Time Reverse). Then change the layer’s blending mode to Multiply.
Because how you do scratchback is completely dependent on the text you’re using, it’s not something that you can make a template out of. I can create a tutorial about how to do this in the near future if you think it would help.
To copy and paste a layer, you can use the Edit->Duplicate or Ctrl-D with the layer selected. Sometimes you need to do something special to duplicate a layer (if you’d be creating a second instance of a pre-composition, for example). There are full details specific to Delicious in the user guide.
Waiting for the rendering process again is something that all After Effects users have to deal with. There are various methods to speed it up, such as soloing layers, dropping down a resolution etc. You can pick up some tips about working fast in After Effects by looking at the video user guide.
I set up my user guide material so that a beginner can follow the steps and customize the file in the areas that it’s set up to be customized. The user guides are not a comlete beginners guide to After Effects though. There’s not room for it in the download for one thing, and these kinds of tuts are amply catered for on-line.
And of course, not every single element is completely customizable. For a template there is always a trade-off between customization options and project complexity. After Effects is and always was a large and complex program. Part of the template maker’s task is to make the program easy for people with little or no experience of it. (and maybe teach them a few tricks in the process!)
On my Vimeo site (linked via my user page) you will find various tutorials about various things, including rendering techniques.

Ok, Thanks for a quick reply,
Please install http://camstudio.org/ And send me back a video link with what you are trying to explain about the “felt tips, present” couse It’s just wrong to try to understand with such explanation, and I guess you are pointing to somethink that sounds to be really simple. (What can that take? 15min?)
Thanks for the copy function, I gonna try it!
Best regards
15 minutes? You’ve got to be kidding! Putting together a decent 10 minute screencap tutorial usually takes around 1 to 2 hours of planning, recording, re-recording, editing, exporting and uploading to make something half way presentable. Luckily I had a bit of time today.
Check this out. https://vimeo.com/75501611
There’ll be a higher quality version available later on today or tomorrow.

Yeaah.. you are the boss!
thanks
Can I duplicate the placeholders with True Comp Duplicator?
and also what did you mean by the background “reacts” to your audio?
Yes – if you look through the user guide for Delicious (linked on the item page), you’ll see instructions of how to make Delicious react to your audio. That means that the patterns in the background move with the waveform of the music that you import, and with music that is beat driven, appears to move and pulse in time with the music.
True Comp Duplicator is an excellent script, but it isn’t perfect – particularly when it comes to adjusting expressions in the right way. So if you do use True Comp Duplicator, you’ll find that it will work, but that some aspects may still react to effects on the layer it was duplicated from (those aspects that are expression linked). If you’re feeling bold, you could go into the new TEXT XX extrude comp that you’ve created and on the layer 3D Extrude null change the layer reference in all 8 expressions.
With Delicious, in total you have 20 images and 40 pieces of text. The simpler approach, if you need more, might be to duplicate the project and customize it a second time, then edit the results together.
Sorry I didn’t tick the email notification prompt….I have purchased the music from a different source but the background effects do not work. Please help!!!
Hi Leeboy,
Thanks for purchasing.
If you look in the html user guide, the whole of Step 2 is devoted to how to make the background music reaction work. There are a couple of steps that you need to follow to make the background patterns react to your music.
If you prefer to look at the video user guide instead of read the text, you can find full instructions about this aspect of Delicious in the file User Guide (Detail).mov 36 minutes in, starting at 36:20. It might be a good idea to have a look through this whole video before you get started with customizing. It’s just short of 50 minutes long, but it will give you a good feel for the project and all its little details.
If you have any other questions, please drop me a line via my profile page.

I have purchased the music from a different source but the background effects do not work. Please help!!!
Following on from my comments yesterday I have rendered the opening chunk and the background effects are missing. Can you help please as it kills the visual.
Great work, I’ve just purchased your template.
I have just opened it and the background effects aren’t working as per the video???
Are these linked to the fonts or the music in any way as these are the only things i don’t have yet? For some reason it doesn’t work as per the video.
Thanks in advance
Just a quick comment so I can subscribe, waiting for music to go with it
I’ll keep you posted as and when I hear back from Alberto.
Good day, are you sure that music will be available in August?
Hi Lutciy,
To be honest, I’m not sure. I just shot the author of that file, Alberto an email and I’ll get back to you when he gets back to me.

The project gets stuck right after being opened on a Mac Pro with 16 GB ram, Mountain Lion and intel i7
Hi Guilhermos,
Gets stuck in which respect? I’m working on a Mac Pro with 16GB ram, with Mountain Lion too (Intel Xeon’s though).
Just opened the project file with no problems. To be honest, it’s very rare that anyone has a problem with this file, and it has sold quite a lot. There’s probably a simple solution.
Anyway, feel free to drop me a line via my profile page with some more details, and I’ll have a look into it. It may be to do with some of your settings.
Also, let me know which version of Ae you’re using and in which language, and any details about exactly what’s not working.
PS… Did you have a chance to look at the user guide yet?
-felt.
Well, first the project is converted from version 9.0.3 (Mac Intel). That happens with no problems. Right after that, when it tries to load the first screen, that coloured ball starts to turn and then on it won’t work anymore.
The “delicious (short).aep” file works.
I’m on AE CS6 Version 11.0.2.11, in english.
I did check the user guide, but my problem starts right after the project is open. It’s weird because I buy projects all the time and never had this problem.
Thanks for your help!
Hi Guilhermos,
I’m working with exactly the same version of After Effects here – also on Mac and I’m seeing no problem. The project opens up quickly and then responds pretty snappily to my user input.
Since the project has been purchased 800 times and I’ve hardly heard of any users having problems with it, I’m going to guess that the issue’s something to do with your system. The fact that your Mac is hanging (colored spin wheel) is suspicious – the “rainbow-colored carousel of indecision” often means that your system is running low on resources…. RAM / VM… whatever. It’s basically trying to rustle up enough resources to run the program.
Try checking that your system drive is not getting full up. Programs use virtual memory on the hard drive and if it starts to get full, then you can see problems like this sometimes. Delicious is a fairly heavy project and After Effects may use VM (depends on how much RAM you have installed). Maybe this is the issue. You could also try making sure that all other programs are shut down.
If that doesn’t solve it, drop me a line via my profile page and we’ll see if we can get to the bottom of it.
-f.
Update – I take it all back! I just checked it in CC and I’m able to replicate the problem there, and now I’ve found a way to replicate in CS6 too. It appears that the latest Ae updates have a bug relating to the CC Force Motion Blur effect.
So I’ve made a file with this effect turned off so you can open and work with it. (You can use native motion blur too to render Delicious).
I’ll file the bug with Adobe. Drop me a line and I’ll send you the fix.
-f.
Good to know that there is no problem with my system. I just sent you a message via profile page.
Cheers, Guilhermos. The updated file is winging its way to you!
where can i buy the music? This project NEED this music. If i can get the music i’ll buy it
Hi Conecta,
The music is unfortunately unavailable at the moment. Hopefully it will be back in August.
Hi! I am going to buy your fantastic project but I can’t find a music by AlbertoDC1977. Is there any way to get it or buy?! I definitely need it! Several months ago you gave a link to this music to your buyer. Is there any way to get it again? If I need to buy a project first – no problem. Just tell me that I will be able to get track and I will immediately buy your project!
TIA, Egor Donde!
Hi Egor,
Unfortunately, Alberto had to take the track down for several months due to an exclusive deal with another client. I’m told it will be back on Audio Jungle in August.

Hi!
It is good combination of sound and image, I liked the new vibrating video highlights.
Good job!

Thanks!
sorry, i figured it out.
Hi Tenacious… Looks like I’m a little late to the party! Glad you worked it out.
how big do my images need to be? i have one that is 1200×800 but i have to enlarge it in AE and the resolution becomes terrible. in fact, the resolution of the pic looks great when i open it on my desktop but when i import it in to AE it looks horrible, even before i enlarge it. i’m a total newbie. am i doing something wrong? it’s a jpg and is 300dpi.
