Thanks for your quick reply. I found out how to copy/paste items from the downloaded project into new FCP X Motion titles. However, that’s a lot of work and I still need to figure out a few things to make the them editable and stretchable in FCP X. Actually I thought the titles were already prepared for use in FCP X. What else would they be used for?

Hi, you can use them in all editors now by rendering the one you like to use, its is possible to prepare to publish the files for fcpx on my system, it would not work easily on other systems.

I see, but I need to type a dozen lower thirds, copy-drag them to other scenes and resize them to accommodate different texts. Rendering titles in advance outside FCP X does not fit in a film editor’s workflow. The titles should work in FCP X out of the box. At least if they would, you would probably sell a lot more, because they are beautiful.

The tutorial is wonderful, thanks! It’s still a lot of work, but at least it’s doable for a Motion newbie.

Now that I got around to trying this, it did NOT work for me. What I get is a video generator, not a title! I need a title that works like other FCP text titles and lower thirds. This is what I expected when buying your lower thirds package. Messed around for hours in vain. Very disapointing.
