Hi Benjamin, thank you for purchasing my file. 70 placeholders are prepared, so it should be no problem and no additional work. Please follow the video tutorial, which is enclosed. In the REPLACE IMAGE folder you will find the first 30 placeholders. Don’t forget to move or delete the 3 Ink titles and reposition the FADE OUT layer. That’s it. Thanks for the great Template and instructions! I am brand new to After Effects so I am wondering if you would assist with a few things. 1. I was hoping to have the videos be longer than the picture slides and cannot figure out how to extend these to my desired length. 2. I have some photos that are not in landscape and I would like to know how to adjust the slide so they fit better 3. I would like the audio to cut out, or the volume to lower when the video and its own audio comes on. 4. I appoligize for this last question but I can’t seem to find a way to preview the slideshow at full speed… am i missing something?

I love this! I’m having a problem that I can’t figure out. At around 0:04:00:00 the video fades to black and then resumes showing photos at 0:04:09:00. I don’t know how to fix it. Do you have any idea what might be the cause of this? Thanks!
I just checked and it’s in the original file as well. I’m working in the 720p slow version.
hey, thank you for purchasing! I’m glad you like it. it is the fade out layer you are talking about. you need to open the 1080p final slow composition. here you can hide the fade out layer or move it to your new ending. here you can add grain or vintage looks or black and white as well. i hope this helps.

I love the the template and I would like to purchase it but I am very new to after effects and have two questions: - I notice that all the photos used in the display is landscape can I use potrait photos as well? If so, how do I do that?
- and as mentioned since I’m new to after effects, could you send me the tutorial in advance just to make sure that it is not too hard for me to use.

hi, thank you for your interest. the template is not specially adjusted for portrait format but with some tweaks one could use it with this format as well. however to explain it to you would take some lines and you have to have the project to follow along. I assure you the videohive templates are tasted for usability and as you can see the template has a 5 star rating for customization as well. Much as I sympathize, I can’t send you the tutorial in advance.

hello, first of all, this template looks great! very beautiful! i’d like to purchase it, but i was wondering, if I want to transition between one of these rolling pictures into a regular video footage, for example it rolls to a new destination, like Africa, and then I want to stay and talk about that place a little longer without all the placeholders/frames, and when I’m done with that place, it gets back into the placeholder/frame, and rolls onto the next destination, how do I do that? sorry in advance if this seems like a stupid question…thanks!
hey, it’s not a stupid question at all. I think the fastest and easiest way to do that is to go in to the composition where all the image/video placeholders are staggered (it’s called FastVersionPre-Comp or SlowVersionPre-Comp). Chose the REPLACE IMAGE X comp (where your Africa movie should appear) make it as long as you need, but try to align it to the end of one of the following image/video placeholders, to make it easier. Return to your Main Comp (1080p FINAL FAST or SLOW) chose the FastVersionPre-Comp or SlowVersionPre-Comp layer, press U to reveal the rolling keyframes and remove the keyframes you don’t need, just make sure that the last and the first keyframe in the new gap you created have the same Y value = the second velue for Position Keyframe (something like 960, 3875, 0). Hey Matty! thanx for buying my file. are you talking about the 3 ink style titles in the end? check out the video tutorial, which is included. you can find the 3 title presents in the REPLACE TITLES ? REPLACE END TITLE FOLDER. 1 step: you need to drag and drop your photo or video into the REPLACE END TITLE IMAGE1, 2 or 3 composition 2 step: you need to decide where this INK TITLE should be and choose the REPLACE IMAGE X you want your INK TITLE to appear, open the REPLACE IMAGE X (1-70) and drag and drop one of the 3 INK TITLE compositions. Great work—- just wondering, is there more than 1 transition for the pictures in this template? I see only one in the demo.

thank you, i’m glad you like it! the transition is always a rolling picture from bottom to top or top to bottom. however the timing, the direction and speed are never the same, as well as the overlaid film burn (4 versions are used)
