do i have to put each picture in a place holder then take its composition and pre-compose it and then take all these one after pre-compose them and adjust in another big composition that will conclude all of them ..

I recommend you to create a new composition, drag and drop into it some transitions and use the time remap to connect the transitions. See this quick tip

Yes, you can use a video instead of images.
But you should know that it may require basic knowledge in After Effects!
Duration of the compositions very easy to change with images (with time remap), but if you use videos, you should create a dublicate video When the transition animation is over and synchronize it.

Just purchased this. Looks great. Any way I can change it to 1280X720? My project is 1280X720 and most of my source files images, video are not full HD. I do not want to stretch them.Thanks.

Yes, you can change it to 1280×720. Go to the composition = > composition settings and change the resolution. It must be done for all compositions you need. Or you can works in 1080p and crop the final result before render in render settings.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Changing all the comp resolution to 1280X720 doesn’t help because all the mask shapes are not scaled accordingly. Cropping 1080p ok but the origin where the transition start is off and will look weird. Any other way?
And what about this trick: create a new composition 1280×720, add into it transitions you need, and scale transitions to ~67%? Render this new comp without crop. Everything should be ok
Sorry, I don’t understand. Even If I scale the transition in a 720p comp, the placeholder remain full HD, I still need to drop full HD source files, right? Please enlighten me. The project is already half-way and would be difficult to change all the full HD now. Thanks!
Right, the placeholders still full hd, but if you scale your source to full hd and render the final result in 720p, quality of your source files should not change, or am I wrong?
Scale up in pre-comp and scale down in final render… hum, not sure, any experts here can answer? Anyway, I’m re-doing some of them in full HD now. No problem.

I see some problems with your video:
1) between the first and second transition the first transition disappears too early. to fix this you need to use the Time Remap. How to use it you can read in pdf tutorial or see in video tutorial http://youtu.be/L9ExgrjsEww
2) the same happens with all other transitions
3) Animation fourth transition looks wrong. The transition is slow to appear. I do not know why it happened and I reccomend you redownload the project and replace the transition to the original. Because in the original design transition looks good
The most important thing for you – learn how to use the Time Remap. Please read again the pdf tutorial or see the video tutorial.

I have downloaded the file again and this one had the transitions and the placeholders. Attached print screen of replace the first placeholder image above the transition, Is this correct so I can go ahead and replace all other images?
What you mean by Main composition was added late because I do not have it when I open the project, I have only videohive_Preview is this one you mean it to add to render queue?
Can I change the output resolution?

Yes, that’s what I meant. Add all your images into compositions “placeholders” and render “VideoHive_Preview” composition. And you get the slidshow like this preview. In “VideoHive_Preview” composition you can move transitions or delete unnecessary transitions. Output resolution I reccommend you cange in render settings. Cange must be less than 1920×1080. If you want to create resolution more than 1920×1080 – you must change resolution for all compositions you used. You can do it in composition settings, and it will require some skill of video editing with After Effects. I see that some of the questions to be difficult. And I try to help than I can. Come back again later. Next week I plan to record a video tutorial that clearly answer all the questions
How to add the transitions to the images because after I replaced all the photos I had no transitions between the photos. The project also had no comp to render? Would you have any video tutorials for this project?
Add your photo into compsitions “placeholder”. Main composition was added later, if you don’t have it, download the project again (it’s free for you). Project comes with PDF tutorial, where I step by step show how you can use it
