Hi, I’m having a problem (I also sent you an email, but I wasn’t sure what was more efficient). When I use the effect on text, the shadow is limited to only the text box’s size: http://i.imgur.com/mVCUf2u.png—when I precompose everything and put it into a new composition (like you do in your tutorial), nothing happens: http://i.imgur.com/bjw7fJH.png
Anyone know what’s going wrong?
Well try to precompose just the text layer do not include the solid background and after that apply the preset to the pre-comp.

You have to Pre-compose your layer before apply the preset…Thanks for purchasing

The operating system it doesn’t matter. This preset it’s for After Effects and works with windows and mac.

Hi there,
I had a problem with this effect. I have Adobe After Effects CS5 and I copied the file into my Presets folder but when I try to use it on my text appears a small window saying:
warning:
The “Effect” class has no property or method named “Angle”. Expression disabled.
Error on line 2. Comp:. “Comp 1” Layer 1 (“Shadows”) Property: “Point”
*“Shadows” is how I called my text layer.
After that I click “ok” and any of the options works. Just the color change, but not opacity, feather, lenght…
Any help?
Could you make a Collect Files of your project and send me by email to see what is the problem and trying to figure it out

you can try a small fast blur or edge blur from red giant key correct

Just wanted to say that I purchased it and it has not worked so far. Several issues. I emailed the author, so hopefully there will be a quick response and the preset can get fixed.
