It looks like about OpenGL error. Please try to update video card software, while opening AE press Caps Lock ON and look it gives error. And please send me a screenshot, I want to see exact error..

Unfortunately you cannot open CS5 as I wrote in description. You need CS5.5 or above. Because Adobe built-in effects updated after CS5.5, and they doesn’t support some features that I used in that project. You can download Adobe After Effects CC 30 days trial version and you can use it inside it.

Is it possible to easily change the worldmap in this project? Could I change the world map for instance to say a map of Middle Earth?
of course, map is a unfolded world texture. you can change it easily by modifying texture file..

I also add my compliments on a very well implimented animation.
What would make it perfect though is a complete zoom down to street level if possible.
I would be able to use this as an intro for my Sports Videos zomming down to show the stadium.
