How do I make it so that my logo is in colour and not in grayscale/B&W?
Hi. This happens because expressions are disabled via your after effects is in a different language, to correct this : Create a file called ae_force_english.txt in your user home directory’s Documents sub-folder.
Also if you changed any settings within the project, i suggest extracting the folder again to reset everything to their default state.

Hi, To me this for some reason does not work. AE writes that disables scripts or files have been rename. Maybe there is another option?
Hmm, the ae_force_english.txt should work, other option would be to install after effects in english version if available. The files renamed shouldn’t occur, did you re-extract everything from the downloaded archive? Also make sure you have the latest version of Quicktime installed.

It was cool at first, but kinda lame that I’m limited to the box and can’t just have JUST my logo doing the effect.
If you have instruction as to how i can do that, i’d appreciate it…. otherwise its money wasted. :-/
You can’t do it using just the logo and after effects, unless you have element 3D, the whole purpose of this project was to give it the 3D look without the use of any plug-ins so that anyone can use it, also that’s why i’ve included the rectangular shape so you’re good to go for whatever shape your logo might have!

I actually DO have the latest Element 3D. However I even went to the “box” comp, selected all 4 layers and tried to make it into a rectangle instead, went back to main comp and it was 2 squares side by side.
The logo I’m trying to use is a rectangle (wide). I was trying to NOT use element 3d to save time with all the animation within it, so i bought your template.
Do you have any suggestions on how I could make the square a rectangle instead?

Dude in the main control layer the very first one is a tickbox for “rectangular shape”

i just recently got adobe after effects would i be able to use it for my uses?(the intro) it came up that i needed permission to use it
Yes you can use it for ONE project if you bought the standard license and if you want to sell it for a client you need an extended license.

You have to purchase the audio track separately, for which there’s a link in the description, but i’ve slightly cut the track to match the video. If you purchased the audio track send me an e-mail and i can cut it for you.
