Hey man,
first off: great work, I love the simplicity
I have a problem though, I can’t finish rendering it, it says an Output module stopped responding, do you have any idea what that means, or where the problem is?
I work with an iMac with 4GB of RAM … if that is of any importance…
I didn’t use the Force Motion Blur just to be sure and other than that, I slowed the video down by precomposing the Final comp, clicking the ‘sun’
and then I simply stretched the time..
thanks for your great work !
That sounds a lot like an internal After Effects project. It’s not a message I’ve ever come across.
If you’re having trouble, the best method for rendering is to render to an image sequence. That way, if you do have to bail out half way, you can just pick up where you left off. At the end, you convert the image sequence to a movie format.
There’s a whole tutorial about rendering to image sequences here: http://vimeo.com/12875270 plus a few tips about optimizing your system settings and renders in AE.
Drop me a line via my user page if you’re still having trouble.

Just read my own message back to see if you’d replied and noticed my typo! When I said an internal After Effects project, I meant an internal After Effects error of course!
Haven’t heard back, so hopefully there was a tip or two in the rendering tut that did the trick.

Hatts OFF !
rendering time?
Full res (1920×1080), full quality, motion blur on. About 4 hours if I remember correctly.
That’s on an 8-core Mac / 16gb RAM / AE CS4

I would like purchase this but I am new to after effects CS4 . How exactly do I find this? Cycore plug-ins
Hi Video Man,
Have a look at the FAQ on my user page…. http://videohive.net/user/felt_tips
Cycore plug-ins are on your original install disk (or download) of After Effects and chances are that you already have them installed. My FAQ tells you how to check for this. If they’re not installed, then you just need to go back to your install disk and install them.
The only time you won’t have Cycore plug-ins is if you are using the 30 day demo version of After Effects. Cycore is not included in the demo version.

Thanks for the nice comment, Bacek. It’s always nice to hear it from a customer!
Oops… yeah – the (Empty reference) in the html link to the Audiojungle page. The link should still take you to the right web page though.
Thanks for pointing that out. I’ll update it when I get a moment.

No, it’s all live. No pre-renders at all. The large file size is the video user guide!
