I keep getting stuck on the exact same spot every time I render. Are there plug ins I need to download? Have a whole basketball league I am about to disappoint. Got it to render once and now every other time it gets stuck at exactly the same point. Really need help.

Hi 360brianfoster, can you tell me specifically which spot is giving you trouble?

There are a few things to be sure to ensure that renders succeed.

-Always render the individual comps separately in other words, don’t try and render all the comps in the “trailer” at once.. Instead, render each section individually and then bring them back in to their respective compositions to render the complete project.

-render as image sequences. This will save you trouble in case something goes wrong and you have to stop the render. With an image sequence, you can pick up where you left off.

-Try rendering out backgrounds separately. This can be done on a number of the compositions. Solo all the layers below the text/player stats and render that as its own image sequence. Then bring the render back in and stick it directly below the text/player layers. You should be able to use the same background for multiple comps.

Please email me if you continue to have problems!!

Great work, good luck :)

Hi Tgarretteaton,

Is there anything I can do on my end to shorten the encoding process? I’ve been encoding the FCP trailer composition for over day and still haven’t reached the half way mark. Any suggestions is much appreciated.

Hi mobilefusioins, sorry you’re having some long render times. The project can be fairly heavy to render, but there are a few basic things that should help speed up the process.

-check you multi-processing settings. Depending on your machine, multi core rendering can speed things up.

I am curious how customizable this package is? Am I able to change the floor so it isn’t as basketball focused?

Yes, you can change the floor if you so choose, though it would take a bit of work. The project isn’t designed with the in mind, but it is certainly possible!

anyone else keep getting expression errors on certain comps?

“expressions disabled as a result of errors”

Just sent you an email, hopefully we can figure that error out!

So good! It’s a really good game :-) Hope you many sales !
