I purchased this template and would love to use it, however, none of the assets will open in AE 2019 CC (says damaged or unsupported). After looking at all of them using Quicktime the inspector reports them as being jpg. files not mov. files. Any help on how to resolve this would be appreciated, thanks!

The files are mov with jpeg compression. It seems there is a conflict with Apple DVCPROHDVideoOut QuickTime component in latest versions of After Effects. Could you please check this link and see if it solve the issue.
If it doesn’t fix the issue, could you please temporary try to open the project in CS5.5 https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/creative-suite/kb/cs5-5-product-downloads.html It should work fine in this version.
