I had purchased element 3d but I wanted to know if the video would render without a graphic card? Or do I need to have it?
Integrated Intel HD graphics did render element 3d files if I’m not mistaken. You’d better check element 3d page to see the requirements. In any case I can do render if you can’t do it for $25.

Hi,
I’m trying to open the file on a Mac in version CS5.5 but am receiving the following message:
“After Effects error: The file you are attempting to open was created with After Effects version 11.0 (Windows 64) and cannot be opened with this version. See www.adobe.com./aftereffects for information on upgrading your software.”
However I didn’t see a minimum requirement in the notes section?
And assistance you’re able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, on the template page, right bottom corner, there’s a window with requirements and there’s a note that this project works with AE CS6 and Element 3D. You need to upgrade your software to use this template.
Hello, I have everything working fine, except i don’t see the pages animated. I tried to edit the Element 3D layer (called MagazinePart1 and 2) in Scene Setup, then imported the first of the .obj contained in the folder, then hit OK, but i don’t really see the pages flipping. Could you explain me better how can i make the animation to work? Please. Thanks!
My bad, to import a sequence you require Element 3D version 1.5 and up. It works now.

I have a problem with the flare.mov files,AE said they are damaged or unsupported,how can i fix this?
Probably you don’t have some codecs to open this format. As for files they are not damaged.
I only have enough pages in my brochure to fill up 15 pages.
Pages 16, 17, 18, 19 are empty (page 20 i have the back of my brochure on).
How can I edit the project to lose those pages since I have nothing to fill them with?

Hi, thank you for purchasing. You can delete textures for 16 – 20 peges inside the element 3D. This should work.

Hi, you need a plagin “Element 3D” in order to work with this project. It is mentioned in project description and it is said in the “Required” field. Please, be more attentive.

There were 2 files missing, and i relinked 1 of them by selecting the Obj folder. But there is still 1 missing: plane.obj. What can i do to solve this problem ?

Hi, plane obj is a native element 3d object. Therefore you need to chek if everything is right with your plug-in, maybe reinstall it.

Hi, it happens sometimes, you just need to click on relink button inside of Element 3D and browse these files. Just find the Obj folder in the project directory and click relink. That should help.

Hi, thank you for purchasing. There’s no way you can do it. It’s just a 3D animation sequence.

If you mean changing background, yes you can change its texture.

This looks great – I have a question regarding how customizable it is though.
Is each page a separate animated obj and independent within element to allow individual timing adjustment of each page’s pre-set animation, or is the book a single animated obj, thus you are locked to use the pre-existing animation of the magazine as a whole?
I would want to be able to have control over the animation timings of each page, so it would be nice to know whether this is possible before buying.

Hi, the magazine is a single animated object, but still you can control the animation timing using time remap. Actually that is what I did, I stopped animation and then started it again when I needed.

What is the average rendering time on this?
I’ve got a project for this but am crunched on time. It will take me a bit to organize the comps like I want, but i need to get a rough idea on rendering time since element 3d projects can be quite long rendering.

Hi, thank you for interest. It will take approximatly 1 hour 30 minutes. I have a PC with 16GB RAM and Intel i5.
At least that is the time I see in the render window.
