Hello Carl, Wonderful project- perfect for my story! I am extending the page duration for the first page, but once I slide the page and keyframes down the timeline, I lose the nice page shadow that should appear as the page is turning. Can you tell me what I am missing or where that shadow effect is? Thanks a million! Bill

Great project! I’m having trouble with the placeholders though….the circle placeholder that allows the picture to come through is too small and I need to open it up to reveal more of the photo. Do you know how I can do this?
I have After Effects experience , but 7 years ago. I’d like to use this for 6-7 pages of a children’s books, with images, and some text. Can images be shifted left or right, to make room for more text?

Hello Kayando, thanks for the interest! Cover Book is quite easy to use, so with some AE experience you should be more than good. The images can be shifted, since the mask that allows you to see them can be easily modified to be bigger, smaller, more to the right, etc.
And several sentences of text next to the images, plus different fonts and font sizes as well? I’m a bit rusty with AE. Thanks again!
For sure! The text can be easily edited using the text control panel, allowing you to make it bigger, change the font, and so on.

is it possible to add more placeholders and is it better quality than 360p?
My mistake! The file is in fullHD (1920×1080). It is possible to add more placeholders since the file is 100% editable. Some After Effects experience is recommended if you want to do so!

Hello! Don’t worry about the missing message. My fault, as I forgot to delete the file on the project and it keeps asking for it. However, the placeholder is intact and ready to hold your own graphics.

Hello I just Bought this and I am struggling to edit it. For some reason it says i dont have the page transition so that wont work and I cant seem to Find out how to edit the next at the begining do you have a tutorial or somthing i could watch?
Will this work in CS5 ? Can the timing be slowed down a bit? I am VERY NEW to AE, so is a video tutorial available? Need a template ASAP ..waitng your response ! THX !
This will work on CS5 perfectly. Slowing down is possible with a little bit of tweaking. VideoTutorial is not available, but the file is extremely easy to edit with the text tutorial. Also, if you have any problem, mail me and I’ll try to help with it.

Have you considered downloading the free trial version of AE CS5 ? You get one month to edit Cover Book.

With some knowledge of AE, yes, you’ll be able to increase the number of pages by duplicating the comps.

Hello and thanks a lot for purchasing, there would be two methods to do what you need. One: change the keyframing page by page and also the shadows to make it go in the opposite direction. Second way: Get the composition and reflect the whole thing changing the x axis scale to -100. Make sure to reflect the pictures and texts first so they end up the correct way.

Hey Laith,
it is possible, just drop a video in the picture placeholder. You may find more trouble if you want to make the duration of the page longer, but it’s a matter of spacing the layers to leave more Time between transitions.
