Are you able to change the name of the news paper in the template? And is it possible to isolate a smaller individual segment of the sequence rather than the entire piece?
Hi there! You can change every text line inside the project. Also, you can adjust camera movement(because everything is aE created) and zoom on a particular part that you want to highlight. Aldo I guess you will need some basic, or medium AE knowledge for that.
Hi there, I’m really liking this project so far… but I want to have different images on all the newspapers… for example, the opening 8 seconds has the covers of 4 newspapers… all with the same image.
What is the best way to make it be different images? I tried making it so the “media 1 back” has different background images (so 0:00 – 0:02 is one, then it changes), but this doesn’t work.
I’m an intermediate after effects user.
Hi there! Sorry for late reply. If I understand you correctly, than you will have to find “Paper One Fold” compositions in the timeline of the main composition. You will notice that the same Paper One Fold comp is duplicate several times. You need to edit the Paper One Fold comps labeled with sandstone color. That the flipping papers. Now,to achieve this multiple pages effect you need to duplicate entire Paper One Fold composition tree (meaning you have to duplicate every composition inside as well), and then just replace all this Paper One Fold comps in timeline with newly duplicate ones. That way you will have new paper pages with all new composition for the images and text. I hope you will understand the method…

Watching the video I noticed that the time of the images are approximately 5 seconds, it would be possible for me to put a picture with about 10 seconds of time in your 3D design. Hi there! Thanks for the kind words. I guess it is possible. All you have to do is to precomp the main composition and apply the time remap effect.
Hi, I’ve purchased some of your projects & I love your work, right down to the way you set up the work flows in the projects themselves. Very straightforward. I am leaning toward purchasing this project but I’d like to know about the layered 3D shots. Are they achieved by a simple drag & drop where the project settings will make the adjustments to the photo? Or, will I need to edit the photos first in Photoshop then place the layers in their respective placeholders? Neither way is a problem but a drag & drop will save me lots of time. Keep up the great work!
Hi there! Thanks for the kind words. For this project, I would say, it is combine approach. For some images is simple drag&drop. For other images (the ones that have 3D camera depth involved) you must create 2-3 different drag&drop layers. Background, middle and foreground layers. Foreground and middle of course must contain transparency, so that the background would be visible behind them. So you will need some time for preparation inside Photoshop for this layers. Hello, when I open the file with AE CC I only get a brown layout and lots of WARNINGS that effects are missing. What do I have to do to see the papers?
Do you use English version of AE?
If not, that’s the reason that you keep getting this error messages.
You can either install the English version of the project or you can create an empty txt document “ae_force_english.txt” put this document into user/document and then when you start After Effects it will run in English Cooooool.

Hi! Yes. But you must have videos with alpha to use the 3d setup.

No, man, you can customize it all. The texts pages are compositions with text layers inside so you can change everything.
