Also, if you go to your latest download of GH. You will see a folder there entitled “Documents.PLEASE READ”. Inside you will see a document entitled”CS6.INFO.rtf”. That will have a link to download the fix. But I can send it to you as well. Let me know if this helps. Thanks

If for whatever reason, the project were to open on your end in CS6, some folks have noticed it would shut down because of a Shadows/Highlight plugin bug from upgrading from CS4 or 5 to 6. It happens once and a while, eventhough I took out all Shadows/Highlight plugins. If it does, I just resend the project from my end and all works fine.
Ok before I buy this, I have CS6. Would it just be easier if I bought the v2 package for 10 more dollars? I am reading about these errors and honestly, I appreciate that you made a fix, but I dont wanna have to patch something up. Id rather it work out of the box when I get it. So I guess im asking is V2 is more compatible with cs6 than this is?
Hey Khameleon, The errors are not due to my part my friend. It was a Shadow and Highlight plugin issue due to CS4-to CS6 jump. It does not happen often, but when it does, the fix is simple and not project threatening. But Volume 2 works just fine with CS6 for sure. But both are certainly compatible. And I am always responsive to anything a client needs my friend. So no worries!
Oh no, I wasn’t implying that it was on your part. I just know that when someone makes a template, a new version of whatever comes out and I’m sure it had something to do with that. Nah man you’re stuff is awesome and I never had a doubt. But good to know on the v2. I will swoop that up first chance I get. Thanks for responding. -K808
Hey Bud, I know you were not implying that. No worries. For whatever reason that Shadows and Highlights plugin error was fixed. However, for some reason, it will pop up for some folks still, eventhough I deleted the Plugin from the project. However, when I resend the very same project file from my end in a zip folder and have the artist replace the project, all works fine. Its bizarre. But, at any case, not an issue besides that weird bug at times. Hope this helps. And thank you for the compliments my friend!

Hey Bud, The ShadowsHighlight was an CS6 update bug. Whereas the plugin was causing crashes when upgrading from CS4 or 5 to CS6. So i you PM I can send you a fix. There should be no Shadowspugin in the newest Grindhouse V1 update, so its odd that is still happening. But I can I have a fix. So let me know what your status is my friend!

Hi PHANTAZMA and thank you so much for your great work! I have a problem (not in Dark Matters): I can only open CS4 project. I’m on CS6 and both CS5 and CS6 have an error with Highlight/Shadow effect that makes AE crash. I’m on Win7 and i have downloaded the file when it comes out (i don’t know if you have made some changes in the meantime) and tested on my laptop without problems. I’ve opened the CS4 project and create all the sliders control,but i don’t have the color correction effects on the adjustmentl layers. Thank you so much and sorry for my bad english! Bests, Roberto
Hey Roberto, Can you do me a favor? I may be wrong, but it sounds like you may have unzipped the project file with winrar instead of win zip. If so, make sure you unzip with traditional winzip. Winrar, for some reason, seems to cause such issues. If you did use win zip, and still have the issue, feel free to PM me and I can get a fix over to you my friend! Thanks again!
