Very cool !!
I feel duped. The demo looks good so I bought it so I can render a lower third and place it over my footage in premiere pro. I opened the template into AE and instead of the frosted glass as advertised, I get a greyed lower third that is not frosted or transparent like the one that was advertised. I then looked at the video tutorial but that was even more confusing because it was mute with just a mouse moving. What it shows in his tutorial screen does not show in mine; which is a frosted lower third. I thought this would be easy. I have bought lots of templates from videohive but this one got me wanting a refund. Tip to author; What you advertise should be exactly what we get. If you are going to make a tutorial, there should be sound and it should be in English. As you can see you do not have a satisfied customer.
Hi there,
Thanks for your purchase and I’m sorry for the confusion. The description notes that the graphic must be rendered on top of the footage within After Effects to achieve the “frosted glass effect”.
There is a very simple workaround:
1. Edit your footage in Premier
2. Once you’re finished editing, import the video clips that require the lower thirds into After Effects, and render those clips with the lower thirds composited on top.
3. You can then insert those rendered clips back into Premier for final output.
Sure, it’s an extra step, but all is not lost! This is actually a common practice in professional design and video production environments.

Additionally, I just checked the integrity of the video tutorial, and it does in fact contain audio. Might it be possible that the application you used to watch the tutorial had the volume turned down?
The project is useless to me. $12 wasted because I cannot render it with an alpha background to use in premiere. Why would you make the project like this. Every other project I bought on videohive was able to render with alpha.
Plus the video I want to put it onto is 1 hour 30 minutes long. If I try to render that in AE, it will take a month.
The lower third graphic is on the screen for the entire 90 minutes? All you’d have to import the portions of the video that require the lower third graphic, not the entire duration of your project.
You can certainly render the graphic with an alpha for use in Premier, but obviously since blurs are effects that need to be rendered in their native application, the blur effect won’t transfer with the pre-rendered Quicktime.
The project was made like this, because as you can see, it’s he only way to achieve the desired effect, which is why needing to render in Ae is mentioned within the project description.
If you’re interested, I’d like to remedy the matter by offering you one of our motion graphics collections from our personal marketplace. Please contact me at tyson [@] motionrevolver.com so that I can give you the details.

Beautiful clean lower third, but unfortunately when trying to drop my .mov file at the very bottom layer of both the CTA Lower Third or the Block Lower Third, the .mov file gets placed ON TOP of the lower third rather than beneath it. I also dropped your existing photoshop file of flowers at the bottom layer and they also got placed ON TOP. What can I do?
Hello,
Thanks for your purchase! Glad you like the project
To make sure that your video footage is actually all the way on the bottom layer, uncheck the “Hide Shy Layers” button in the timeline, which will unhide the hidden layers and show you all of the layers in the timeline.
Then, drag your footage to the very bottom of the layer stack. Hopefully, that should do the trick.

very nice..!!
Hi I want to purchase, I unfortunately purchased the OTHER frosted glass lower thirds on here, and they do not have an alpha channel export option, is that the same with yours? I don’t want to have to bring footage into AE to use a lower third, I may want to edit it later, etc. So, if it can export with alpha then I will buy asap, looks awesome thnanks.
Hi Todd,
Yes our lower thirds always have the ability to be rendered with an alpha channel. The only caveat with a lower third such as this is you won’t be able to achieve the blurry frosted glass effect with your underlying footage unless you render it within After Effects.
If you render the lower third as a .mov with an alpha channel, then place the graphic on top of your footage in another video editing software, you’ll see the video underneath the lower third graphic, but it won’t be blurry like is shown in the preview video.
