Hi, yes that is possible. Here are the steps for the individual Project files:

1. 3D Stars: In the project panel of After Effects (usually located at the left side of the screen), there is a search bar that you can use to find specific footages and compositions. In this search bar, type in “Star Comp”. In the search result, look for the compositions called “Star Comp 4”, “Star Comp 5” and “Star Comp 6”. Open up all three with a double-click and then switch off or delete all layers called “Black Solid 2”.

2. Footage Ratings: In the project panel of After Effects (usually located at the left side of the screen), there is a search bar that you can use to find specific footages and compositions. In this search bar, type in “Filled Star”. In the search result, look for the compositions called “Filled Star” and “Filled Star 2”. Open both up with a double-click and delete or shut off the layer called “Particles” in both of them.

3. Rotation Stars: In the project panel of After Effects (usually located at the left side of the screen), there is a search bar that you can use to find specific footages and compositions. In this search bar, type in “Filled Star”. In the search result, look for the compositions called “Filled Star”. Open it up with a double-click and delete or shut off the layer called “Particles”.

4. Simple Ratings: In the project panel of After Effects (usually located at the left side of the screen), there is a search bar that you can use to find specific footages and compositions. In this search bar, type in “Star Color”. In the search result, look for the compositions called “Star Color”. Open it up with a double-click. In the timeline, disable the shy-switch. (Here is an image I found via google that shows you how this switch looks like: http://feelthevoid.co.ke/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/shy.png ) If the shy-switch is disabled, you can see all layers in this composition. Shut off or delete the layer called “Particles”.

I’m going to record a videotutorial later today that shows you how to get half stars. For the timing of the Simple Rating 4 values, there is another comp that is called “Simple Rating 4 Values Timing 2”, did you check that out? That is a lot quicker.

Hi there, please excuse the late reply. I have been sick the last couple days.

If you want to render everything out in a lower resolution you can set the desired resolution in the render settings, after you have added the composition to the render queue. Alternatively, you can create a new composition (Ctrl+N) with the desired resolution and then drag the Footage Rating Animation Composition inside it, then render out the new composition.

Retiming is something that will require After Effects knowledge so you may want to hire a freelancer for these changes. It is possible to change the time between the transitions but it’s not something that can be easily explained in a mail. Basically, you need to uncheck the shy switch in the Animation composition (either Animation 1 or Animation 2) to reveal all layers, then drag the layers around to fit your new desired timing. In the composition “Footage Animation” respectively “Footage Animation 2” you need to drag the keyframes of the layers to match your desired timing.

Hey Tobi, good question! I’m using the Rotation Stars.

Hi,

in the project panel, open the folder “pre-comps”. Inside there is a composition called “Stars” if you use the short version, in the long version there is a folder called “Stars”, with 5 compositions included. Open up this comp/these comps and select the layer called “5 filled stars”. Press U on the keyboard until you see the parameter “Transition Completion”. Toggle this down with the little arrow on the left so that you can see some lines of code underneath the layer bar.

Click into the textfield of the code, to see the whole thing and delete the second line: “stars=Math.round(stars);”

(If you are using the long version, make sure to repeat this for all 5 star comps inside the stars folder)

This disables the rounding to full star numbers. Just follow the customization as explained in the tutorial, now you can set half or quarter stars with the controls in the control layer. You may have to play around with the exact value, 2.5 may not end up being exactly two and a half a star on screen, but rather a value of 2.56.

Hi, thank you for the interest in my item. Actually, the rule of thumb was always “one render = one license”. In case of a pack like this, this applies to every single project included. So you can essentially render out the overall ratings from 1 to 5 stars with the text you like and use that in your whole series. For the projects that require customization everytime I’m afraid you need a new license for every customization. I will check with envato staff what the possibilities are and come back to you. Hi, I’ve just checked the license terms and the FAQs again, and the way I interpret it you can use this template for your series as often as you wish. The whole series is one end product in my eyes, and you are using the item for this one end product. The old rule of thumb I mentioned does apply to logo reveals, but I don’t see it fit to a pack like this. So, as far as I’m concerned I’m okay with you using this template for your series with a regular license, even if this means rendering out some things twice. This is very much comparable with sound effects that are available over at audiojungle, or loops. They rae used several times in an end product.

To be absolutely certain you may want to get in touch with envato support, but as I interpret the videohive licensing terms, you are good to go.

I purchased this over a week ago but I’ve never been able to download it unfortunately. I know about all the download support topics. I have tried them all. I can download all of my other purchases with no problem. Not sure why I can not get anymore than half way through this one. I sent Envato and email and its as if they never read that I have already tried everything. Its a templated email they send me for people with download problems. I reply that does not help me and the resend the same email. They suggest I try everything I’ve already done. Not sure why its this one product that I can not get.
